🚨 Meet Lionel 🚨

This sweet boy’s life was almost cut short—he was literally minutes away from being euthanized when we stepped in to save him. 💔

Lionel is skinny, mangy, and in desperate need of some TLC. Despite everything he’s been through, he still has the sweetest soul and deserves a chance at a happy, healthy life. 🐾✨

Right now, Lionel needs neutering, vetting, skin treatments, and plenty of good meals to get him back on track. He’s also sadly heartworm positive, and will need a costly treatment😭 We can’t do this without your help!

UPDATE- Foster found!!

Could anyone foster this boy? He only has a few hours left before he’s faced with euthanasia. He is heartworm negative and super sweet! We will work on getting him tagged if someone can give him a place to stay today!

🐾‼️UPDATE‼️🐾 8/15/25

Fred is still waiting for someone to step up! He already has a rescue commitment. He needs a safe home. Currently where he resides is not safe for him. He needs to start heart worm treatment while he awaits his transport date to join his siblings who left before him!!

Fred will trick you, he’s actually a short stumpy kinda boy. Loving, friendly, and just wanting somewhere safe and cool. Please consider fostering Fred.

Here’s the much-awaited update on momma and babies.

Momma successfully delivered 6 babies in total—2 born at the pound, 2 born in the foster’s vehicle, and 2 born at the foster’s home!

Unfortunately, 3 of the babies did not survive longer than 24 hours. We believe it to be because of momma’s malnourishment. 😢 Thankfully, momma and her 3 remaining babies are still doing well, but this could change at any moment. Momma is doing everything right - she has plenty of milk, is tending to the babies appropriately, and is overall such an amazing momma. We are supplementing and giving extra support to momma and the babies, and momma is eating a very good diet. Please continue to send prayers, good vibes, and healing energy their way. ❤️‍🩹

These dogs were originally discarded and dumped in rural areas, or brought in as strays to local animal controls with no hope. 🚨 UPDATE ALERT 🚨 Check recent post 8/14/25 10:36pm

There is a momma dog currently giving birth to her babies on a concrete slab at a pound! 😭
We have a foster/volunteer en route to pick them up! She is emaciated and has probably struggled to keep herself, much less her babies, nourished throughout her pregnancy. We don't know how many babies she will have, but we do know this: every single one of them deserves love and a chance at life! We need your help and support to ensure this momma and her babies get everything they need. They will need medical care, food, and supplies.
