Happy National Puppy Day! 🐾 This little one and a handful of other puppies have been keeping me on my toes lately — and honestly, I wouldn't have it any other way. There is nothing quite like watching a pup learn and grow. Wishing all the puppies (and their people!) a very happy day! 🐶

Does your pup pull on the leash during walks? 🐕 You're not alone — and the good news is, it's totally fixable with a little consistency! Here are a few tips to get you started:

- Harness matters! Switch to one that gives you more control, especially with larger dogs.
- Check your fit. You should be able to fit two fingers between the harness and your pup — no looser than that.
- Start indoors. Practice heel for 5–10 minutes, 3 times a day — watch the video for how to build up the cue and reward sequence! 👆
- Change one variable at a time as your pup finds success — check the video for how to do this gradually before heading outside.
- Hit a wall? No worries — just go back to where your pup last heeled successfully. That's not a setback, that's smart training! 💪

Training takes time, but consistency is everything. 🐾

🐾 DIY Enrichment Alert: The Cup Game!

Looking for a fun and easy enrichment activity for your pup? All you need are some solo cups or recycled yogurt containers (like the ones pictured!) — no fancy toys required! 🐶

This simple game taps into your dog 's natural love of scent work and problem solving. Here's how to play:

🏅Level 1 – Beginner: Place treats under upside-down cups and encourage your pup to nose or paw them over to find the goodies!
🏆 Level 2 – Challenge Mode: Place treats inside the cups and cover the tops with a ball or any toy that fits — now they have to figure out how to get past the obstacle first!

🐱Cat parents — this works for your curious kitties too!

It's a great way to keep their minds busy and burn some energy without leaving the house.
