Help the horses!!
CALLING FOR YOUR HELP!
We are averaging 20 adoptions a week now, so one of the main things we’re being asked for is licensed and reputable haulers or equine transporters. We do have ONE very good lady we use (shout out Sam Casselbury, you RULE) and then our personal shippers — love you Hayden!! — but we’d like to put together a list recommended by our followers.
Here’s rule number one: do not comment BEWARE of so and so (please DM us anyone who shouldn’t be on this list, any comments trashing a business will be deleted as having been subjected to witch hunts ourselves— it won’t be allowed here.)
Rule number two: only people you’ve personally used and think are excellent!
Preferences given to those who do a lot of hauling on the east coast and specifically Virginia (where we are located).
Hauled for us and wanna be on the list? DM us! We’ve used so many shippers (hundreds) I can’t possibly remember them all but happy to add you.
We are going to turn this into a word document we share with adopters as a KNOWN HAULERS list. We hope this will assist in further away adopters having the ease and convenience of a list of haulers at their fingertips.
This has been frequent feedback by adopters that they’d like to have, and I am, at heart, a woman of the people 😉
Shippers, we having between 40-80 horses moving a month— being on this list is a GIFT for business and god knows every rescue will copy it and send it out (what we do, they’ll do like ducklings) so this is sort of a golden ticket. Do good business and you’ll remain on the list.
Giving back to the equestrian economy is a personal goal for Olivia. In a time of uncertainty, we’d like to see it THRIVING!
So … not horsey? Share on your timelines to your friends and family that MAY have horses.
Let’s get these haulers out there and get these horses on the road (safely) to their forever homes.
Operation transport horses to their forever homes COMMENCE!
