Willie’s baby bump has started bumpin’ 🥰 We are at the halfway mark 🤗
Still just a little pot belly, but over the next 4 weeks it’ll grow like crazy!
Days 30–35: The puppies' organs fully form and they are officially classified as fetuses. They begin developing toes and eyelids.Days 36–40: A period of rapid body and skeletal growth begins. Claws form, facial features become distinct, and the first signs of hair appear on their heads.Days 40–50: The skeleton ossifies, the puppy coat forms, and s*x organs become clearly distinguishable. By Day 50, a veterinary X-ray can clearly show how many puppies are expected.Days 50–60: The fetuses are fully developed and mainly focus on adding weight and size in preparation for birth.Because growth occurs so quickly, the mother dog's belly becomes rapidly and visibly larger.
