Thank you to Lisa & Danielle for taking such great care of our Teddy boy. Our guy was so well cared for while we were on vacation. 🐾 Different breeds. Different personalities. One big happy family. ❤️

Today was another amazing day at Waggin’ Tails Pet Services by Lisa, where friendships were made, zoomies were shared, toys were borrowed (without permission 😂), and tails never stopped wagging!

Our awesome crew today included Lucas, Jax, Millie, Buca, Jeter, Gracie, and Teddy (our official Head of Security 🕶️). Whether they’re here for daycare or boarding, they all welcome each other like lifelong friends. Watching them play, relax, and care for one another reminds us that kindness has no breed.

🎂 Today was extra special because we celebrated Gracie’s Gotcha Day! 🎉

A very Happy Gotcha Day to our sweet girl, Gracie! ❤️ We’re so grateful her amazing mom and dad chose to rescue her and give her the loving forever home she deserved. Because of that incredible act of kindness, Gracie gets to spend her days surrounded by friends who adore her—and we’re lucky to be part of her journey.

Today we celebrated with extra love, belly rubs, treats, and, of course… a birthday cake fit for a princess! 🎂🐾

As for the rest of the crew…
🐾 Lucas kept everyone smiling.
🐾 Jax was ready for every adventure.
🐾 Millie brought the fun and the zoomies.
🐾 Buca proved that big personalities come in small packages.
🐾 Jeter stayed cool, calm, and collected.
🐾 And Teddy… well… our Head of Security made sure every treat was thoroughly inspected before anyone was allowed to enjoy it. 😎🦴

☀️🐾 EXTREME HEAT ALERT FOR NEW JERSEY & NEW YORK 🐾☀️

The temperatures are soaring, and our furry family members are feeling it too! At Waggin’ Tails Pet Services by Lisa, your pet’s safety and well-being always come first.

During this heat wave, we’re keeping walks shorter and scheduling them during the cooler parts of the day whenever possible. Hot pavement can burn sensitive paw pads in seconds, and excessive heat can quickly lead to dehydration or heat exhaustion.

Here are a few important reminders:
💧 Always provide plenty of fresh, cool water.
🌅 Walk your dog early in the morning or later in the evening.
🐾 Keep potty breaks short during peak heat.
🧊 Watch for signs of overheating, including excessive panting, drooling, weakness, vomiting, or lethargy.
🚗 Never leave your pet unattended in a vehicle—not even for a minute.

⭐🐾 Waggin’ Tails Pet Services by Lisa – July Pets of the Month! 🐾⭐

A big round of “a-paws” for our July Pet Stars, Buca and Jax! ❤️🐶

These two have formed one of the sweetest friendships I’ve had the pleasure of watching. Every visit is filled with laughter, wagging tails, and unforgettable moments.

💕 They’re famous for sharing each other’s treats (because apparently everything tastes better when it’s your best friend’s snack!).

💋 Every morning starts with kisses, and every evening ends the same way before they head back to their own homes.

🏊‍♀️ Buca has made it her personal mission to convince Jax that the pool isn’t scary. Jax isn’t completely sold yet, but Buca keeps trying—and watching their hilarious conversations is priceless!

They remind us every day that friendship isn’t about being exactly alike. It’s about sharing adventures, making each other feel safe, and always having someone to wag your tail with.

Congratulations to our July Pets of the Month, Buca & Jax! Thank you for filling Waggin’ Tails with so much joy, laughter, and unconditional love. We can’t wait to see what adventures next month brings! 🩵

🐾 4th of July Pet Safety Reminder 🐾

As we celebrate Independence Day, please remember that fireworks can be extremely stressful for many pets. Loud noises and unfamiliar activity can cause anxiety, fear, and even attempts to escape.

If your pet has a history of being nervous during fireworks, now is the time to contact your veterinarian to discuss medication or calming options before the holiday arrives. Veterinary offices can become very busy leading up to the 4th of July, so don’t wait until the last minute.

For your pet’s safety:
• Ensure ID tags and microchip information are up to date.
• Keep pets indoors in a secure, comfortable area.
• Provide background noise such as television or calming music.
• Offer favorite toys, treats, or enrichment activities to help reduce stress.
