Yesterday afternoon l had the pleasure of visiting 3 IBR adoptees for a potty break while mom and dad were at an event. Jake, the black Lab mix came to us about this time in 2015 with his siblings and momma from Alabama. Allyson, the Fluffy mix, came to us with her 4 puppies from Mississippi about 4 years ago and her daughters Allie and Poppy are still in our program waiting for their forever home. Wrigley was born in our vet's daughter's closet in April of 2015. Trudy, his mother was saved from a hoarding situation on Kentucky. Because of Trudy and her puppies, we gathered more data about tick borne disease transmission from mom to pup. Similar situation with Allyson and her girls as they also have the same diseases as their mom as well as Jake also testing positive for Lyme disease as did his mom.

Allyson is also a heartworm slow kill alumni. All are doing well except Wrigley has an enlarged heart like his momma and l believe a heart murmur. Wrigley is also a Nose Works Champion. To help boost Allyson's timidness, her adoptive momma took her to Barn Hunt classes and she was super friendly when l came to visit.

I've known Robb and Linda for close to 25 years and am thrilled they dove into fostering 10 years ago. It's nice seeing some happy IBR dogs so loved locally.

Duda's garage door key pad wouldn't work when l went to his house today. Thankfully l was able to get it open, ran to Walgreens and bought a new battery that worked. He's in a cage until l get to his house at 3 and he usually potties right away once l get him outside. His mom leaves me nice snacks a few times a week. These bars are delicious.
