The Golden Irish cross is a cross between a Golden Retriever and an Irish Setter. This cross gives us a hybrid dog that has the best of both breeds. Since this breed is not a purebred it is also referred to as an Irish Golden or an Irish Retriever. Our specialty is the Golden Irish as we have been a part of raising this breed for more than 8 years. We have concentrated all our efforts on this cross to bring you a puppy that is going to be a perfect match for your home!

Here's a photo of my dog, Rose. She was part of the 4/29/24 littler and named after her mother. Rose. I'm just writing to tell you that she is such a sweet little dog and that she is well loved. Rose is petite at 40 pounds, which I think is a great size. She likes to play fetch with a ball, go on hikes and play with Gracie, our golden retriever. Rose is still in puppy mode and into mischief but lots of fun. I've tried her out on an agility tunnel and see saw. She's a quick learner and I hope to do more agility training with her. Thanks for doing such a good job with your dogs.

11 weeks old and handsome as they come. North is current on vaccinations/dewormer and comes with a microchip ID and all the joy a pup can bring! 🐶 He got an excellent vet report at his 6 week check up and has a sociable personality. North’s favorite things are food, people, and romping outdoors with his brother Nikolas. We’d love to see him find a fur-ever family! Dublin is a 9 week purebred Irish Setter boy. He is strapping. And that just does not say enough about him. He has everything an Irish-loving person would adore ☘️ An exceptional build, excellent genetics, a great personality and the potential for a rich red coat.

Dublin had one undescended testicle at his 6 week check up. We would recommend having him neutered at an appropriate age but otherwise it should in no way affect his health. He is available for $2000.

Our little Daphne has a beguilingly winsome personality, a gorgeous red coat, and a heart for people. Daphne is quick to accept you just the way you are. She’s one of Rose’s purebred Irish Setter pups and is ready for a forever family anytime. Crate training has begun for Daphne, she’s up to date on her vaccinations and she got a good report at her vet check up.

Our Story

Golden Ridge Hi-Breds has been raising the Golden Irish since 2016. We have been working with the Golden Irish for over nine years. Our Golden Irish puppies are raised in a family environment following the recommendations in Jan Fennell’s book, The Dog Listener. We either own our parents or our parent company, Sunshine Acres, does.

Every single puppy of ours goes home with a three-year health guarantee and a puppy care package. At the going home age, each puppy will be current on their vaccinations and have the best of veterinary care.

We at Golden Ridge Hi-Breds are striving to produce a healthy, intelligent, and sweet-natured Golden Irish puppy, that excels at making your families laugh and give you as individuals devotion and companionship.
