This time, the giant schnauzer went the full Monty.

After coming close in the last two years, Monty the giant schnauzer won the top prize at the Westminster Kennel Club dog show Tuesday night, leaving handler and co-owner Katie Bernardin almost too emotional to speak.

“He always tries so hard, and we’re just proud of him,” she told the crowd at Madison Square Garden.

The spirited schnauzer bested six other finalists to become the first of his breed tapped as Westminster's best in show, the most prestigious prize in the U.S. dog show world.

Update: We regret to inform you that our establishment will be closed today, Wednesday the 22nd, as the temperatures remain unfavorably low. It is not advisable to get our pets wet in such extreme cold. We look forward to welcoming you tomorrow.

It's always something around here. No break to catch. Sorry to those who were waiting for us this morning. Walked in to no lights! Pictured is the outrageous bill I have been managing for years with Comed for the shop. I was told account had been frozen while waiting for them to correct their mistake. Waiting to be refunded however that doesn't seem to be the case today. I am actively on the phone with Comed. I will post as soon as I receive answers or reach a resolution.

Sorry for the inconvenience. Our very physical job has caught up with her today. With an already small staff we have no choice but to cut off walk ins for today.
