It's always bittersweet when the pick-up day arrives. After spending a couple of weeks with Lola, she has become such a delightful and well-behaved dog that it was difficult not to become attached. She made significant progress in impulse control and manners during her stay.

It's rewarding to showcase the progress our canine companions have made to their families. The positive feedback we receive makes this work truly fulfilling.

Don't be surprised if my next dog ends up being a well bred lab like this girl. .insta we may need to talk 😉😆🥰

Lola exhibits typical puppy behaviors, including exuberance, mouthing, and distractibility.

Follow along here for Lola's progress over the next two weeks as she participates in our board-and-train program. Following the program, she will transition to private lessons with her family and participate in group sessions to further refine her training and enhance her owners' skills.

Kenji, a mixed-breed male weighing approximately 14 pounds and a little over one year old, is crate-trained, travels well in a vehicle, and possesses basic obedience skills. He walks well on a leash and would be a suitable hiking or walking companion. Kenji interacts positively with dogs of all sizes and household cats. He currently resides with children aged 1-6 years without incident. While generally sociable with other canines, he exhibits resource guarding tendencies; therefore, his meals are consistently served within his crate.

So stoked generously shared some of his woodchipping from his delivery to help chip one of our dog yards for the muddy times. During the rainy season, we normally go from 3 yards to only 1 dog potty yard. Now we have 2 that are weather proofed 🥳

This will make break times much smoother for our boarding pups! Especially the ones who enjoy their outside yard time 🤣

During an attempt to repair a damaged dog bed, Canela, who has recently been undergoing training to understand her designated resting area, strategically positioned herself on the bed. This clever tactic appeared to be an attempt to get paid and rewarded with the treats I had in my pouch. Recognizing the effectiveness of her approach, the treat was, of course, given to this cute face for offering this position.
