Lurch is a very handsome boy. He LOVES belly rubs. Lurch desperately wants out of the shelter. We believe he might have barrier aggression towards other dogs 😢 but he is the sweetest boy and deserves a second chance.

ADOPTED!! It was Independence Day for Duke, too, today! Rescued from nearly being euthanized when former owner had not made any arrangements for him after being order to court-appointed rehab:( We didn't want such a very nice fella to lose his life because of this circumstance, so we moved heaven and earth to rally many people to help; then, networked to find a wonderfully responsible home...It indeed "takes a village"...:)
He immediately liked his new parents, hopped in their car after a walk & a visit, and was ready to ride to his nice, new home:) Be happy now, dear boy!!
