TILLY! A very cute 7 month (30ish pound) super mix who is 50% sun-seeking lounge lizard, 50% goofy playmate, and 100% pure heart is now ready to meet a family of her own.

If you’re looking for a pup who loves to join in on the fun but skips the usual hyperactive puppy chaos, Tilly more than qualifies! She’s happiest when she’s outdoors playing tag with a doggy pal, exploring a trail, or sprawled out in the yard soaking up the warm sun.

The Highlights
• Favorite Hobbies: Playing fetch, chasing dog friends in the yard, car rides, and keeping track of where her favorite humans.
• Energy Level: Mellow Medium. She loves a good adventure, but once the play session is over, she passes out for a top-tier nap.
• Dog & Cat Approved: Excellent with other dogs and has lived peacefully with cats.
• Kid-Friendly: Great with kids 3 and up—just give her a minute to say a quiet hello before the fun begins.

Life at Home
Tilly is a polite housemate who has good house manners. She also knows her basic manners like Sit and Stay. Her recall is great—especially if you shake the treat bag to give her a little motivation!
She can be a bit shy when stepping into new places or hearing loud, strange noises, but her curiosity always wins out. All she needs is a brief moment to scope things out, and then her happy, tail-wagging self takes over.

Her Dream Home

Tilly is a sweet, soft soul who forms deep bonds with her pack. Her absolute dream scenario is a home with another dog to play with a yard with plenty of room to run around in. If she’s going to be an only dog, she’ll want a human who makes her their absolute center of the universe.

Videos are in the comments!

If you have a heart full of love, a sunny spot in the yard, and a spot in your home reserved for a cozy cuddler, she’s ready to meet you! Tilly is being fostered in Jericho, VT! To learn more, please fill out our application at this link:

It's baffling how this guy is being looked over. He checks so many boxes and would easily fit into a variety of families and lifestyles. BODHI is such a calm, mild mannered lovable guy, yet he's waited months for someone to notice him.

CLICKING SHARE might help him find his family. Would you do that for him please?

and check out his Loose Leash walking skills in the comments! He's really a pro!

Bodhi is about 3 years old and hovers around 55 pounds. He was found as a stray and never claimed by a family, the story of so many abandoned dogs these days.

He must have had a home because he is naturally engaging and has good house manners. He enjoys the comfort of his comfy crate or lounging on the couch. Bodhi LOVES his walks, whether it’s in a neighborhood, in a park or on the trails. His foster mom says he has been a pleasure to have as a walking companion and has excellent leash manners.

He is endearing of people, happy and polite to meet them. He appreciates a slower, respectful meeting with other dogs, and happy to be friends with the lower key personalities. He has made several neighborhood canine friends who he enjoys having as walking adventure/sniffari partners!.

His recall skills are making great progress, especially if a squeaky toy is involved!

Speaking of toys… Bring on “all the toys” and if they squeak, well that’s just a heavenly sound! A durable squeaky toy will have lots of parties with this boy! No need for TV with the entertainment you will get from living with Bodhi. Lots of laughter therapy with this goofy guy , especially if there is a basket full of things that squeak! Oh, and water... probably his 2nd favorite thing in life! Splish splashing away whenever water is available!

Bodhi has a very calm demeaner, a go with the flow boy and we would say he is a Medium Energy kinda guy. He loves his daily walks and appreciates a good fetch or tug game with one of his favorite toys. He has been respectful of the kiddos that he has met that have ranged in ages over 8 years old. He needs coaching getting into the Car, but once in the car he enjoys the car ride and ready for whatever the next adventure will bring.

Bodhi is ready to start a new chapter with a family who wants to enjoy living each moment to the fullest, whether it’s with his squeaky toys or a good nap session on the couch. He is an undemanding; low maintenance appreciative guy and we’re excited to help him find his tribe!

🚨 Vermont's Stray Dog Crisis Has Reached a Critical Point 🚨

This is no longer a future concern.

Today, dogs in Vermont are at risk of euthanasia simply because there is nowhere for them to go.

Many towns do not have a plan—or even an appropriate place—to hold stray dogs. For years, rescues have stepped in to fill that gap, but rescues across the state are full. Adoptions are down, stray and abandoned dogs are increasing, owner surrender requests remain high, and foster homes are harder than ever to find.

Rescues cannot continue serving as the backup plan for every municipality, nor can they solve every challenge faced by pet owners. We are out of space, out of resources, and running out of options.

The result is heartbreaking: dogs that are healthy, treatable, and deserving of a chance are now facing euthanasia because the system has failed to provide another path.

How you can help:
🐾 Spay and neuter your pets.
🐾 Reach out to a trainer or behavior professional before problems become a crisis.
🐾 Foster, volunteer, donate, adopt, or transport for local rescues.
🐾 Make sure your pets are safely contained, identified, and cared for.
🐾 Contact your town officials and ask what plan exists for stray dogs—and advocate for humane solutions if one doesn't.

This isn't just a rescue problem. It's a community problem, and it will take communities working together to solve it.

The animals deserve better. The people trying to help them deserve better. And the time to act is now.
