While pet sitting over the last few months, Ive noticed and been requested to pick up folks mail/packages. This helps with wet mail in winter and detours porch pirates in your neighborhood! It also relieves stress for clients if they had to go out of town for an emergency or unexpected trips.

What do you think?
Pets or not, if you need to go out of town I could pick up your mail or packages and drop it off in your home where it is safe!

Hi Guys! This is Misty Hauff! Just wanted to let you know I will be relieving Tasha of pet sitting.
From here on out I will be your go to for all pet sitting needs, however she will resume grooming some time soon! I started helping Tasha over the summer, and have been helping more and more! I really love getting to know your animals! Its been an awesome experience! Here are a few snapshots of me getting to know clients pets♡

Hey folks, thought I would make a post to introduce myself. My name is Tasha Mesina, I moved here to Winnemucca 6 years ago. I recently retired from Professional Dog & Cat grooming from the last 25 years, I am a certified master Groomer.

I raise and train World Champion Belgian malinois. My dogs actively compete in conformation, agility, herding, obedience and rally. My kennel name is Element Belgians.

I have worked in the animal industry my whole life, I have taken care of almost any animal and currently run a sheep & goat farm here in Winnemucca Barking Bird Farm. I am well versed in animal husbandry, from livestock down to the littlest chihuahua. I am an AKC Farm dog judge & Animal CPR certified. I also was a Vet Technician for 10 years.

I’m excited for the opportunity to take over Poops and Pups from Kari, this business was her baby, and I would like to continue the same care she gave your furry family members.

DOG WALKING
Reasons on why you should use of professional pet service versus just anyone who walks dogs.
1. An experienced dog handler will walk a dog beside them and not allow the dog to pull or learn bad habits.
2. An experienced handler can also work on training and building positive behaviors. Such as Not responding to distractions while walking, loose leash walking skills and Reduce aggressive responses to other dogs while walking.
3. Walking your dog is more than just about exercise it's about effective exercise and quality interaction.
4.last but not least the reason why using a professional service is so important is were better able recognize health issues and deal with upset circumstances that can happen and are better equipped to deal with situations that may occur while walking your dog were an unexperienced person though they may be able to walk your dog is not doing so effectively and is not training your dog to improve handling and wellbeing.
