We are soooo excited to share this news! Ashley recently earned her CCBC credentials - Certified Cat Behavior Consultant, from the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants. She is 1 of only 3 people who are CCBCs in the entire state of MA. She studied and worked extremely hard to earn those credentials and we are super proud of her!

Through constant fear, sleeplessness, and threat to life, Marina Bolokhovets (pictured) and two other women have stayed in Ukraine to continue feeding and caring for the animals in her shelter, Shelter Friend, in Dnepropetrovsk City. This is in a combat zone, and barraged by nearby bombings. The animals and their caretakers are living in terror, with little food, water, and heat. Marina is networking with organizations throughout the rest of Europe to find emergency transport for the animals and provide food and veterinary care.

The IAABC and IAABC Foundation are asking our community to help these animal victims of warfare and the brave women who are helping them. We are in direct contact with these heroic rescuers and will continue to provide updates to supporters.

Your donation will be granted directly to Małopolska Organizacja na Rzecz Natury in Poland and Shelter Friend in Ukraine who are even now helping hundreds of animals desperately in need.

You can go to our website at iaabc.org to make your donation. Please share this opportunity with others. Any amount will make a difference.

Working with fearful dogs can be really hard. There is so much that goes into developing fears and some influencers we can't do anything about.

We are a little late posting this but Jill and her colleague Steph DuPreez contributed to an article in the Springfield Republican newspaper a few weeks ago about navigating the challenges of young kids and dogs in the home.

We take continuing education seriously here at Paws of Nature and invest a lot of resources and time into acquiring the latest knowledge & skill sets on animal behavior & training. The animals always keep us humble and remind us that the learning never stops, if you want to be the best at what you do. Even “old schoolers” like Jill who have been working in this field now for over 18 years, know the learning never stops. So in 2021 Jill worked extra hard and received her 4th certification. She is now a Certified Separation Anxiety Trainer and in 2022 will be offering a new training package called Safe At Home for dogs who present with separation anxiety related behaviors.
