It's been a long week and here are the updates:
Currently at the ER with Jefferson...an orange male cat found on Jefferson Street near Handley
Second Jane had her eye enucleation and is recovering in foster care
Engelbert was pulled from a local shelter and will need extensive work on his mouth
Shenandoah Sam was taken in from a situation in Wi******er City
Mary Lou was pulled from a local shelter and will need her eye enucleation.
A injured feral kitty off Roosevelt was treated
And several in foster care received vaccines and medical care
Please be patient we are trying to respond to the many emails, messages and calls.

We would like to thank the Wi******er Area SPCA, specifically their Operations Manager, Alisha Piper , for the coordinated effort on a situation in Wi******er City. We appreciated the support, communication and teamwork provided by the staff at the SPCA and our volunteers. A difficult situation with a good outcome for the cats! Thank you!

Sometimes the stars align. His owners moved and this boy kept trying to get into homes in the area for several months. A wonderful woman took care of him and got him to the vet. She asked for our help to find him a home...this sweet boy found his forever home with one of our former adopters and we are extremely grateful! Congratulations Leo!!

Bonnie was someone's kitten. They moved away and left Bonnie outside. Bonnie was not spayed. Bonnie got pregnant. Bonnie had kittens. Bonnie and her kittens were trapped; she was ear tipped and found to be very friendly.
Bonnie's story is way too common.
Fix your pets, don't be part of the problem, be the solution.
BTW - Bonnie and her kittens are adoptable from Shady's Paw Animal Rescue
