My design queue is officially BOOKED through the end of the year.👏🏻

Here are the plates I’ll keep spinning for the rest of 2025:

1. Keeping the momentum going with .elevate.pnw alongside my fabulous co-founder (yes, Christmas is coming… don’t shoot the messenger🌲)

2. No spoilers, but I’ve got a personal bucket list creative project brewing that needs more of my brainpower. 💡

3. Exciting client projects to fill my time — socials, websites, and branding. OH MY!

4. A dreamy collab with that makes my designer heart sing. 🍂

If you’ve been here a while, you know I’m serious about rest, it’s not a luxury, it’s strategy. I build it into my rhythm so I can keep doing this work with joy and excellence.

What a wild, beautiful ride 2025 has already been. I’ll save the full reflection for end-of-year, but it’s been a year of growth, clarity, and a whole lotta movement. Also? I’ve been juggling way too many plates, so to keep things real (and my sanity intact), I’m giving myself a much-needed break to kick off 2026… will be on pause in January & February while I rest and refocus.✌🏻 If you’re like, “Chill Carrie! It’s only August!” I’ve been in this game a couple of decades and I KNOW how quickly August turns into December. So, I’m planning ahead because that is what balanced strategy looks like.💪🏻

Canva just released their most used fonts, and while we love a good classic, using what everyone else is using can make it hard for your brand to stand out.

If you’re reaching for Glacial Indifference, Brittany, or League Spartan every time you open Canva— consider mixing it up with these just as gorgeous (but a little less expected) alternatives:

• Instead of Glacial Indifference—> try Poppins
• Instead of Brittany —> try Signature
• Instead of League Spartan —> try Monterchi Sans

Here’s the real win though— when your branding is already established, you’re not spending precious time picking fonts for every post.
