So no news is.. no news? The vet is just as unsure as we are with what’s going on with cousin 2. We’re not sure if we’re blind, as there was a tiny bit of pupil response finally, but we def dont respond to things as we should. It’s hard to assess at this age if we’re delayed, or going to be perm impaired. We have no idea if this is from being fed improperly, from the anemia, a trauma, or a genetic thing.
The eye today is also a lot less swollen than it has been, but still not tracking where it needs to be. We’re also trying to manage 🤮 and 💩 with no real origin. We’ve ruled out pan leuk, and nothing in the fecals, but are going to start on a bit stronger plan to manage symptoms
It’s just going to be hurry up and wait. We’re going to see how he develops, and if maybe that eye gets stronger, and to see what vision he ends up having. We have a plan for triage if the eye swells up again quickly… basically we’re hoping to give his little body time to see how much of this he can pull himself out of.
Maxwell also got to meet the vet, as we have some suspicious crusties on his ear that I wasnt unconvinced that it wasnt ring worm thats not popping positive, but well be treating with fungal cream just incase
