There’s nothing quite like moving your entire barn to a new location and then packing up for a show just a couple days later! Our horses and competitors still came to play though!
Claire Blunk and George had their first ever show together and did so well! They received a 2nd place in the IHJA 2ft medal class, and they received 4th place out of 11 entries in one of the 18 inch hunter over fences!
Josie Hall and Ziggy had their first show together and clicked seamlessly in the ring! They won champion of the IHJA 2‘3“ equitation division out of 6 competitors! Additionally, they won 1st place in the IHJA jumping seat medal, and a 1st and 3rd place in the puddle jumper division!
Harper Yerkes and Anna had their jumper debut this weekend and set the bar high by winning their very first class out of 8 competitors! This helped them get reserve champion in that division! They also won first place in the IHJA 2ft medal class, reserve champion of the short stirrup equitation and reserve champion of the IHJA 2‘3“ equitation division!
Erin Bell and Sharpie competed in .75 jumper division and came in 1st and 4th on Saturday which got them tied for reserved champion of the division!
Charlotte Blunk and Winston won champion of the IHJA 2’6” Hunter division! They also won first place in the 2’6” medal class!
Chloe Cain and Fluri had several beautiful Hunter rounds and placed 1st and 2nd fences in the 2’6” division! They also moved up to the .70m jumper division and received 3rd out of nine entries!
Kim Robling and Poppy won reserve champion of the IHJA 2’6” Hunter division! They also placed 3rd in the 2’6” medal class!
Madi Hord and Lion aced it at their first show of the year! They also did their first .80m round together and moving up went smoothly! They tied for reserve champion of the puddle jumper division, 2nd place in the intermediate jumper class and 2nd in the IHJA 2‘6“ medal class!
Sloane Stanley and Quinn joined us for the weekend and had a great rounds in the .95 jumpers and the 3‘3“ hunters! First places in all!
Ellie and Henry had the time of their lives, but didn’t actually ride.
