PLEASE DO NOT MAKE ANY DONATIONS TO Nettys place associated with The Asher House. Many of those sites are scams. WE HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO ASSOCIATION WITH THE ASHER HOUSE. I recently found one of our posts on one of the sites with hundreds of people commenting SCAM. AGAIN NETTYS PLACE HAS AND NEVER HAS HAD ANY ASSOCIATION WITH THE ASHER HOUSE. Don't fall victim to these bottom feeders.

I just wanted to share.

True loyalty.

Holli sits and watches every step David takes until he is back by his side and I mean every step.

Netty was David's heart dog and I never thought that spot could ever be filled. Obviously Netty is still in our hearts and memories, however Holli sure has stepped up to the plate in helping heal and fill that emptiness.

These two are like bees to honey and its rare to find one without the other. Holli has cancer all throughout, some visual and some not but it doesn't slow him down a bit. He has troubles with his eyes from time to time and has ointments and antibiotics for when they flare up.

Just last night Holli stole my raw steak I was about to cook right off the counter and had no problem eating the entire thing as fast as he could.

Animal companionship and loyalty is like no other love you could ever find.

Hello, everyone.

We know it's been a while since we've posted anything. We are sorry.

Our last post was when we took in the 2 old ladies, Lady and Bella.

We did not get great news for either of them.

Bella has a large mass in her abdomen most likely Liver or Spleen undetermined without ultrasound she also had all the parasites in the world except heartworms. She is doing much better and coming out of her shell still. She loves laying out on the deck ALONE. She'd rather be the only dog around. Her blood work was decent and her thyroid was borderline low.

Lady on the other hand....

She's kind of a train wreck. Heartworms, pneumonia, an enlarged heart, infection in her uterus, and really bad spinal arthritis. Her pneumonia is most likely damage to her lungs from the heartworms. A few days after the vet visit she became lethargic and not wanting to stand eat or drink and a little labored breathing.

So we had finally made that decision and got everything lined up to have her humanly put to sleep. The next day she was up wagging her tail and ready to eat. It was like she was a completely different dog overnight. So of course we changed plans and she's still doing pretty well. She is even wanting to walk around with the other dogs currently.

So we will continue to let her be as she seems content for now.

Good Wednesday morning to you all.

On the way to the vet this morning with Lady. She has become very sensitive and painful from her shoulders all the way to her tail.

Dr.Baker will be checking her out today.

Bella on her freedom ride. This poor old soul has been displaced after living with the same owner for 15 years since she was a puppy. We understand that life happens and things change. However, we will never really understand why people just dump or surrender their geriatric animals.

She seems pretty happy to be on the road and headed back to Nettys Place. She does appear to have a thyroid issue. Common signs included are dull thinning hair, weight loss, and shelf butt. She shows all three signs. So, off to the vet, she will go.

We picked up some beautiful eggs yesterday from Holly Berry Farms the colors were gorgeous. This is a great reflection of how we can all look a little different from one another but we are all the same on the inside.
