Fighters For Frenchies Foundation We are a non-profit organization based out of Kansas that works to rehabilitate and advocate for French Bulldogs and other brachycephalic breeds.

We also assist special needs dogs. https://www.fightersforfrenchies.com Our organization was officially founded in 2025, but we have over 10 years of rescue experience. Our primary focus is French Bulldogs and other brachycephalic breeds, but we also take in special needs animals when we have space. We currently take in owner/breeder surrenders and hope to help shelter dogs in the near future. We

specialize in taking dogs with IVDD and various medical conditions. We're currently located in Wichita, KS and place dogs in foster homes until they are adoption ready. It is our hope to one day bring awareness on these breeds and education to the Wichita area, which is overrun with unethical, backyard breeders.

Canyon is a beautiful, 3 year old girl looking for a home that understands and appreciates her strong personality and big heart. She is incredibly loyal to her people and forms deep bonds once she feels safe and loved. She will quickly bond with women and children, but can take a little longer to trust males.

‼️She is dog selective and dominant, so she will do best as an only dog or with an experienced adopter who can manage slow, structured introductions if another dog is present and that dog must be submissive. She prefers quality human time and is happiest when she knows she’s your girl.

➡️ She has battled skin allergies in the past, which are manageable with proper diet, routine care, and vet guidance. Because of this, she will need an adopter committed to maintaining her skin health and following recommendations to keep her comfortable and thriving.

🎄Biscotti the blind Frenchie is looking for a family to call her own!

We are thrilled to announce that Biscotti has been working on being dog friendly, and she is learning to be comfortable around other dogs. She was previously attacked by dogs in her former owners home, which we believe caused her to have some hesitation being around other dogs. She is doing well and even transferred to a foster home with one other small foster dog to see how she does. At this time we believe if given a proper amount of time to adjust, she could coexist fine in a home with smaller dogs who will not instigate with her. Being blind she does also take time to get used to new environments but is a sweet and playful girl once she’s figured it out.

🎄Livvy is searching for her Christmas miracle🎄

She is one of our paralyzed dogs who is still waiting for her forever family! We usually get some interest every time she is posted, but then no response when they realize she will require a little extra work. She will need her bladder expressed and regular diaper changes, as well as frequent urine checks to stay on top of any UTI’s. Livvy loves to be on her wheels and spends time in her drag bag. We do require our diaper dog adopters to have an adult in the home that either works from home, stays home or has a flexible job that allows you to frequently leave and care for her as needed.

🎄 A HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS 🎄

Fallon is one of our super seniors that has waited a few years for a home to call her own. All she really wants for Christmas is a family to love her during her final years and a comfy couch. Seniors are often overlooked, and poor Fallon has had multiple families abandon her and leave her behind before coming into our care. We don’t know much about her history aside from being left at WAS, transferred to KHS where she was adopted, and somehow ended up back at the shelter where her family chose to not take her back. After landing on the euthanasia list we knew she couldn’t be left behind. After being failed by humans over and over again, she still has so much love to give. Fallon does fine with other dogs as long as it’s not an overly dominant female, she’s NOT cat friendly but loves children of all ages. Due to her age she can have trouble holding her bladder for extended periods of time, she may have an occasional accident but she tries her best.

🎄If you’re looking for a distinguished gentlemen, Ollie is your guy!

This sweet guy has had no interest while being in our care, which surprises us as he’s a wonderful dog with only a few manageable quirks. He’s worked hard to be a good boy, and we feel confident he’ll do just fine around other dogs with minor correcting. Ollie does struggle with skin allergies like many Frenchies do, but it’s been managed fine with his fish based food, supplement and monthly cytopoint shot. He loves to play with the other foster dogs in the home, and even ignores and respects the cats space. Our challenge has been finding him a home without children. We don’t know why, but he absolutely hates kids. Something may have happened in the past to cause this, or he might just have strong feelings for our tiny humans. Ollie is also a little jumping bean, which needs to be under control as both of his back legs have luxating patella but is not currently causing him any problems.

🎄 Meet Our Adorable Little Velcro Girl! 🎄

This special Frenchie is named Kida and she is looking for a very special home. She’s around 2 years old, full of personality, and has one of those faces that makes you melt.

She is special needs and wears diapers due to bladder incontinence, but we want to be clear, she is NOT paralyzed, does not need her bladder expressed, and gets around just fine. Her diaper needs are very manageable, and she doesn’t let it slow her down one bit.

✔️Sweet, affectionate, and loyal

Charlie is loving life with his amazing foster parents, but he’d love to find a family of his own! He’s a mostly chill guy, but will play with toys from time to time. Like many French Bulldogs he is prone to skin allergies and does best with his monthly cytopoint shot, fish based food, supplements and medication. We cant believe a guy as handsome as him hasnt been adopted yet!

♿️ Paralyzed Doesn’t Mean Broken ♿️

Dogs with extra needs are often overlooked and challenging to find homes for. Vito and Livvy are both sweet dogs that are paralyzed due to IVDD, but that doesn’t stop them from living happy, fulfilling lives.

They use diapers and wheels, have established routines, and do great with consistent cleaning. Once you learn their schedule, daily care becomes second nature. They enjoy cuddle time with the humans and animals, treats, and playing like any other dogs. Being paralyzed does not mean pain, suffering, or poor quality of life, it means they move through the world a little differently.

📣 Happy Monday!

We are trying our best to be as transparent as possible, but we are struggling. We have two planned appointments this week, and a few others we need scheduled before the holidays. A new girl has a spay and vetting tomorrow. Then hopefully no emergencies before Christmas. We do not currently have any vet offices working with us or allowing payment plans or any form of discounts so unfortunately, our vet bills are due upfront and the same cost as everyone else.

🙏🏻This means we need funds and we need them ASAP so we do not have to cancel appointments. On top of the appointments we are low on food, diapers, wipes, and have multiple animals on special diets as well as monthly medication and therapy. We truly need a Christmas miracle if we want to continue. We know the spay and vetting will cost us close to $300 tomorrow, which we clearly do not have. PLEASE consider donating to support our cause, we would hate to close the same year we started.

➡️ We also still need volunteers! We understand that not everyone can foster and that’s completely understandable, but we still need people that could help us with things such as home checks, applications, fundraising, event planning, etc. Fundraising right now is our biggest need as we do not currently have anyone helping us to plan events and find funding.
