Meet Harvey.- a surrender. Harvey flew into a pot of hot oil. He lost most of his toes covered in burns. His family moved over seas. He has been part of the family a while now. He is so sweet.

Update: Fund raiser active with a dedicated bank account. Have quote for flight Hawaii to LA with 2 dedicated attendants for 40+ small companion rescues such as Cockatiels and 5-10 larger birds such as Muscovy s. Then into collapsible crates transported with the people. Please share. Then need find a transport bus with heating and air for 4 day cross country trip to their new location (TBD). Poss Georgia.

During training, make sure the reinforcer (eg: the reward) is valued highly by your bird. Food rewards are often great motivators for birds. For parrots, a small piece of fresh or dried fruit, single seed, almond sliver, or other small piece of nut often works well. For chickens, try offering a dried mealworm, piece of strawberry, or sunflower seed.
