Hi grooming family 💜

I wanted to give everyone a little update. I just finished an 8 day hospital stay and am now home recovering from a heart ablation. Unfortunately I’ve had a complication while healing — a femoral artery aneurysm — so my doctors currently have me on strict bed rest while my body heals.

I miss you all (and your sweet pets) more than you know. Grooming and spending time with your pets is something I truly love, and it’s been really hard being away longer than expected.

Thank you all so much for the patience, prayers, and support you’ve shown me. It truly means the world. I’m focusing on resting and healing so I can get back to doing what I love as soon as possible. I promise I’ll keep everyone updated, and I cannot wait to see you and your fur babies again soon. 🐾💜

I know that speaking up like this can feel risky, but this is deeply important to me. I want my clients and community to know that I will stand up for you regardless of where you come from, who you love, your immigration status, the color of your skin, your religion, or anything else that makes you you.

I don’t support systems or leadership that harm marginalized communities. I do operate QuickClips with a lot of heart and a deep love for my fellow neighbors, both human and four-legged.

I also believe it is important for businesses everywhere, both big and small, to speak up when people feel unsafe. It saddens me that loving others and wanting people to feel safe has become political.

This will always be a place rooted in respect, compassion, and dignity.

My values are not up for debate, but my doors remain open to kindness and respect. 💜🐾

Bath time with sweet Mr Wilson 🤍

As I close out another year of my mobile grooming business, I’m feeling incredibly grateful. Four and a half years of doing what I love all because of the trust and support of both my new and longtime clients.

Wilson holds such a special place in my heart. I was lucky enough to play a part in his adoption story, and watching him grow from a skittish, unsure pup into a dog who trusts (and mostly tolerates) me has been one of the most rewarding parts of my job. The bond we’ve built over time is something I’ll never take for granted.

It’s dogs like Wilson and families like his that remind me why I do what I do. Thank you to every client who continues to support my small business! This journey wouldn’t be possible without you. 🐾

✨ Really Big Announcement ✨
With my new job and schedule, QuickClips will now only be taking appointments one Saturday a month. I’ll be reaching out to everyone between now and Sunday to rearrange existing appointments. At this time, I’m not accepting new clients, but I’ll occasionally do “pop-up Saturdays” for extra availability.
Thank you for your patience and continued support. QuickClips has been running for 4 ½ years now, and I feel so blessed to be part of your lives and your pets’ care. 💜

✨ Quickclips Family ✨

I’ll be reviewing my grooming schedule this weekend and making some adjustments. All I ask is for your patience and understanding. Life looks a lot different today than it did when I first started Quickclips.

As a mama of two working full time, I’ve found myself very burnt out grooming on my days off. It’s taking away from the family time I crave with my babies. I want to be clear: I don’t plan on removing anyone from my grooming schedule. However, I do plan on spacing appointments farther apart so that I can reclaim some true days off.

This shift is about creating a healthier work-life balance. Right now, I feel like I’ve been running from an empty cup, and I want to be able to give my best to my family, to myself, and to all of you.

I love and appreciate each of you deeply. Thank you for supporting me and Quickclips for the past 4 years. 💜
