People seem shocked when I mention that I have been raising cals for almost 20 years. The picture below is from 15 years ago at my first State Show. The blonde on my right is Hannah, her daughter is the niece I did the benefit auction for.

When started I often hear people say “ get a small breed so they can handle it.” I will admit being able to handle your rabbit is very important but sometimes you just click with a breed. I was always tiny with a big rabbit.

Haven’t had any cals on a table since National Convention last fall. I ended up parting with almost everything I grew last year. There’s 10 fryers growing here at the moment with many more does due. Hopefully there will be some hitting the tables later in the year.

Below are three does from the same litter. These girls are out of JLC’s Dancing Panda and a buck that is an offspring to a doe that I sold a few years ago called JLC’s Pink Religion.

Due to life reasons, we will be majorly cutting back.

I’ll have several brood does, some show stock, and young juniors coming up. All less than 200.

Brood Doe’s are open and can be bred before leaving with no guarantees for a litter.

I can work with a transporter if they are able to come towards Traverse City, MI. I’m sure if there is enough interest that can be arranged.

This photo is for attention, the buck pictured below is NOT moving.
