Competitive Californians, Mini Californians, and New Zealand Whites in Northeast Michigan

10/29/2026

I woke up about 2 hours ago. Yep, you read right. My day is just starting 😆. We have three litters of NZ right now. Nothing else took in our barn - shocker. Most of them are bucks too - also shocker.

As I am sitting here getting ready to board my red eye to Atlanta I can finally reflect on our time at the 103 ARBA Convention.

This is the 4th consecutive convention that my mom and I have attended. This one brought us out west for the first time. It was short trip but I am glad we made it possible! The rabbits traveled well and did well on the table and for that I’m grateful!

The rabbits are taking a much needed break once they return from their travels. If you don’t hear from me for a few it’s because I am sleeping 😴😂

Come enjoy the Christmas cheer and show with us at our Very Merry Californian Christmas Specialty Show in conjunction with The Christmas Show. Specialty starts at 5pm and we are lucky to have Michael Mageles judging our beautiful rabbits. Californians & Mini Cals will have the opportunity to show 6 times, including the specialty show, over the course of the weekend.

Power of the attitudes today. Who will win? Definitely not the rabbit. 🙂

She thought it would be fun to try and go after me this morning while cleaning out her coop. So she got to join me in a time out stroll.

We landed in Reno at 12:30 am ( which is 3:30 AM our time) after three flights and switching time zones, I am already feeling it.

The rabbits arrived safely yesterday afternoon. A HUGE thank you to Six Feathers Farm Transport and her team for transporting my stock for me. I will always recommend Melissa. I am a control freak when it comes to the rabbits, but I felt better knowing they were in good hands. They are all relaxing and enjoying their hay!

The rabbits have made it safely to Reno. I just landed from my first flight of the trip, with many more to go. See everyone in Reno!
