Every dog is different.
Every owner is different too.

Some people need help with puppy basics.
Some are struggling with walks.
Some are dealing with anxiety, reactivity, jumping, or just feeling overwhelmed in everyday life with their dog.

One of the questions I get asked most often is:
“How long does training take?”

And the honest answer is — every dog is different.

Some dogs simply need clearer structure and consistency. Others are working through fear, overexcitement, anxiety, or deeply practiced habits.

Most people aren’t looking for a “perfect” dog.
They just want everyday life to feel calmer and more manageable again.

And that’s something I genuinely love helping people work toward. 🐾😊

Why do dogs pull on a leash?

A dog pulling on leash usually isn’t trying to make your life difficult.

A lot of pulling comes from:
• excitement
• overstimulation
• habit
• not knowing what’s expected yet

Loose leash walking is a skill that has to be taught patiently over time — especially in distracting environments.

You should be able to enjoy simple things like:
✔ peaceful walks
✔ relaxing at home
✔ having visitors over
✔ feeling confident going places together

A lot of the people who contact me deeply love their dogs — they’re just overwhelmed, frustrated, or unsure what to do next anymore.

And honestly? That’s more common than people think.

Training should feel supportive and encouraging, not intimidating.”

Different environments create different levels of distraction, stress, and excitement.

This is what progress can look like.

Not perfect.
Not robotic.
Just a dog that can actually relax and listen in real life.

Most people don’t need a “perfect” dog. They just want things to feel easier and their home to feel calm again.

People getting a puppy hoping it’ll help their high-energy dog.

I get the thought process… but it almost always backfires.

Now you’ve got:
– A dog with big energy
– A puppy learning all the wrong habits
– And way less time to train either one
