Do you have a pet that has a hard time walking on wood and tile floors? Think it's the nails? The very 1st thing I recommend is shaving the hair on their feet. When dogs have hair covering their pads, they sometimes slide around like we would in socks. Their pads help give them traction. 9 times out of 10 after I shave, the pet can stand up and walk easier.
Also, it is important to check between the toes for matts formed from the extra hair growth. Walking with a matt inside is very uncomfortable.

Something to always remember when bringing a new dog home. 3/3/3 rule

In general, the 3-3-3 Dog Rule is... 3 days to not be scared, 3 weeks to feel safe, 3 months to be relaxed and themselves.

Your new dog is NOT your old dog!!! Just because they are same breed does not mean they will be the same dog. You failed not them.

Happy Sunday!🐾🐾
Little update on me... I'm healing well. My range of motion is good. I still can't use my arm, and it's hard to text and write, but I'm managing. Most days, the pain is minimal, but now I'm more sore from not being able to do things. Can't wait to get back to work!

I'm so thankful for having Ashley, Alyssah, Caasi, and Jacob to keep things together while I heal! They try their best in my absence, and I appreciate it.

Thank you for all the well wishes from those who took the time to call and text to check on me❤️. A week after surgery, I can use my hand a little better, but not my arm yet. PT hurts, and I get sharp jolts of pain if I move my arm in the brace wrong.
I can not write left-handed and brushing my teeth is a hoot! Im working on schedules during certain times, so I dont do too much.

With that said, with the holiday and trying to schedule around everyone's hours, you may be off your normal schedule if i can get you in. 🐾🐾Ashley has worked with me on and off since I started, and many should remember her. She can clean ears, dremel, and cut nails, but not a**l glands. Reach out if you have any questions.

Kim's surgery went well. She is home resting and recovering. I am sure she will be in more pain once the nerve block they gave her wears off.
