Exciting News!

I am re-opening my summer calendar for Drop-in Visits (me caring for your cat in your home) and Boarding (your cats hanging out in my guest room). I have really missed cat sitting and I'm very excited to start back up again.

A little about me, if you've followed since I put my catsitting business on pause:
🐱 I have had cats in my life since I was 10 years old
😻 Since 2019, I've fostered over 60 cats and kittens.
🐈 Two of those fosters never left: Peach, 5 and Jonesy, 4.
🐈‍⬛ Jonesy has special needs and has been on a bunch of different medications, so I am well-versed in administering meds! She also wears diapers.
😸 I started cat sitting in 2023--and I love it!
😽 I recently left a position at my local Humane Society. While I wasn't in the Animal Care department, I did learn a lot from my colleagues.

Today was my last day at Humane Society of Carroll County. I will forever be proud of everything my team and I built there and grateful for all I’ve learned from them. I’ll always be one of their biggest fans.

What does this mean? I’ll be splitting my time between and FGS (my research job) AND I’ll have some cat sitting dates available once again!

But for now: sleep.

It's time for Minx to find her furever home!

At just 6 months old, Minx has already lived a tale worthy of a novel. She was a bit too spicy for the shelter to handle (we couldn’t even get her weight!), so she came home with me as a foster. Two days later, she vanished from the guest room — only to magically reappear two weeks later in the exact same spot. Where did she go? Only Minx knows. 😼✨

Since her grand return, Minx has been blossoming. She’s curious, playful, and has the sweetest, strongest purr. While she’s still learning to enjoy pets, she’ll snuggle up next to me while I sleep — a quiet little companion in the night. With time, patience, and love, she’s sure to become even more affectionate. 💕

Minx tolerates my cats but doesn't seem particularly interested in them. She'd be fine as a single cat or with others.
