Forgotten Angels

Forgotten Angels Forgotten Angels Shelter, Inc. is a pro-life, non-profit 501(c)3 foster home based shelter for homeless cats. We give preference to the most needy of cats.

We provide a transitional place for cats awaiting their permanent home. We are a place of recuperation and treatment for those with medical problems or injuries, and those in need of social rehabilitation prior to placement into their permanent home. In some cases, we become the final home for those who cannot be adopted due to age or illness. We try to provide the most homelike environment possib

le for our cats. We are an adoption agency for the cats we rescue. Prior to adoption, every cat is spayed/neutered, tested, and vaccinated. Any cat with injuries or medical problems is treated. We do our best to match the needs and personality of the cat with those of the adopter. We want our cats and adopters to thrive together for the rest of their lives. We share the goal of reducing the number of stray cats with many other groups and agencies. To help achieve this goal, we are strong advocates of feline sterilization. A female cat can have up to four litters a year, with each litter averaging 4-6 kittens. So just ONE female cat can produce over TWENTY additional cats in a single year. There are not enough homes or shelters to accommodate all these cats, resulting in the euthanasia of hundreds of thousands of wonderful cats and kittens every year. Like most animal welfare non-profit groups, our volunteers receive no monetary compensation for their efforts. Many personally help to support the cats in their care. We are completely dependent on donations from the community to provide for our cats and to continue the rescue work that gets them off the street and into a home where they are loved. They all deserve this - that stray cat out there could be your long lost cat - help us help them! Please consider a contribution and please consider adoption!

Meet Hamilton

Hamilton is an Awesome Dude up for adoption at Forgotten Angels Shelter (Westford, MA)!! Friendly and sweet, Hamilton is the type of cat that wants to be with you either on your lap or just hanging out where you happen to be.

Hamilton was a stray cat found hungry, dirty, and alone in a neighborhood in Fitchburg, MA. Forgotten Angels Shelter was alerted to his situation by neighbors who were kind enough to feed him and provide shelter in an open garage.

Nearing 5yrs of age Hamilton's personality is well formed, he's young enough to be playful but not so rambunctious that he'll be climb your shower curtain! Hamilton does well with other cats and would prefer a home without a dog.

If interested in Hamilton please consider attending one of Forgotten Angels public Meet and Greet events or submit an online Adoption Questionnaire found at www.forgottenangelsshelter.org.

Update: Hamilton is a stable diabetic cat. He requires insulin injections and is quite easy to care for. The shelter will provide all necessary materials for his care and veterinary support for 2 months after adoption.
