It’s in the little things that I feel it most the gentle footsteps following me from room to room, the way they curl up beside my feet as if that’s the safest place in the world, and how their eyes search for me whenever I step away. To some people it might seem clingy, but to me it feels like the purest form of trust and loyalty. There’s something incredibly comforting about knowing you’re their favorite person and their sense of home.

Every tail wag, every excited greeting, and every quiet moment spent together is a reminder of a bond that asks for nothing except love in return. Dogs don’t care about status, appearance, or bad days they stay by your side through it all. That kind of devotion makes ordinary moments feel special and turns a house into a home. Their love is simple, honest, and one of life’s greatest gifts.

More than 1,500 Shih Tzus have now been removed from Ridglan Farms, but around 500 little dogs still remain inside the Wisconsin facility. 🐾

Rescue organizations say they are not giving up and continue fighting for every remaining Shih Tzu to finally experience life beyond laboratory walls.

For years, many of these tiny dogs have only known cages, cold floors, and endless silence.

Now, some are finally discovering soft blankets, gentle hands, fresh air, and the feeling of being safe for the very first time.

But hundreds are still inside.

Still waiting.

Still hoping for kindness.

Supporters across the country continue working tirelessly to help the remaining dogs reach freedom, comfort, and the peaceful lives they always deserved. ❤️

No animal should spend its life being treated like an experiment instead of a companion.

And until the final Shih Tzu steps into the sunlight…

I am beyond devastated. Today I said goodbye to my loyal and beloved buddy Clyde. I took him for a second opinion at a younger, more progressive that she recognized the symptoms right away of lymphoma. His blood work was horrible, which was done with the first Vet, and it was indicative of lymphoma she said with his ongoing seizures and the history of them starting a year ago he has probably been struggling with this for a while. She did not give him weeks or months. She said maybe days,. She described an ending that no human or beloved pet should endure . So I made a very difficult decision to let one of my best friends go. I held him and kissed him and let him know: He was so loved until the very end he came home with me and now resides up on the hill with the rest of my beloved animals that have passed on he will be so missed. I am truly heartbroken 💔

Big boy Clyde is pretty sick. I am very worried about him. He had 2 seizures last night, vomiting and was at the vet (emergency visit) He has a grade 6 heart murmur ( we knew he had a grade 4). They put him on heart meds. Had another seizure this morning and one on the way home last night.They thought his seizures were related to his heart issues but I’m not convinced. 😭😭😭
