We hope everyone in our community is safe, warm, and getting through this ice storm as best as possible. 🤍❄️
As we move into the next few days and weeks, we want to encourage everyone to continue showing patience, kindness, and understanding, especially toward our local small businesses.
Weather events like this don’t just disrupt schedules. They can have a lasting financial impact on small, owner-operated businesses that don’t have paid weather days or large safety nets. Missed appointments, last-minute cancellations, and no communication can be incredibly hard to recover from long after the ice melts.
We completely understand that safety comes first. All we ask is for communication and grace. If you need to cancel or reschedule, letting a business know as soon as possible truly makes a difference.
Supporting local businesses right now looks like:
• Communicating clearly
• Rescheduling instead of canceling when possible
• Being patient as everyone gets back into routine
Looking out for one another is what makes a community strong. Thank you to everyone who continues to support, uplift, and stand behind local businesses during challenging times. It does not go unnoticed. 🤍
