TOGETHER, we made a huge difference for dogs and cats in April. With spay and neuter we are stopping suffering in its tracks.

Spay and neuter clinics are possible with the generous support of:
- donations from kind-hearted animal lovers (like YOU!)
- awesome veterinary teams who provide services at low cost
- a team of amazing volunteers who help with pre-surgery prep and post-surgery care, as well as scheduling and organizing the clinics

We also rescue dogs and cats, attend to their often extreme medical needs, shelter them and work to find them loving homes — giving them the second chances and LOVE that they deserve.

Where dogs and cats wander homeless and struggling, and pets in families don’t get the care they need due to poverty, we step in 😻🐶❤️.

It has been a while since we posted here on our Friends of El Refugio page, but we haven’t stopped doing great work for cats and dogs in Costa Rica continually through the days and years.

Thank you to all our followers and the animal-loving people who make this mission a great success!... ❤️ …Together we are ending suffering! 🫶
