We’ve been a little quiet lately! 🤍 We’re finally nearing the end of finishing our home, so life has been BUSY to say the least!

I finally had some time to get updated photos taken, and we have several beautiful babies newly added to our website. 🐾

We’re so proud of this group. A lot of time and care goes into our program, including bringing in incredible lines from around the world, and I’m so excited for you all to see them.

I hate to even have to make this post, but please y’all, only message us about a kitten if you’re genuinely serious about adding one to your family.

I can’t tell you how many people in just the last week have told me they were 100% serious, had me spend time answering questions, sending photos/videos, discussing pickup or transport, etc., only to completely back out.

I absolutely understand that things come up and sometimes plans change. But I have 4 kids on top of running the cattery, and that time adds up quickly. It takes away from my family, my cats, and the people who are truly ready.

I’m also getting to the point where if someone has acted very serious about moving forward and then backs out or disappears, I may not offer another opportunity to purchase from us later. I don’t say that to be rude at all. I just have to be respectful of my time too.

Please make sure you’re truly ready before reaching out about a specific kitten. 🤍 I LOVE talking about my babies and helping serious families find the perfect fit, but I simply can’t continue spending hours on inquiries that aren’t serious.

✨🐾 ANNOUNCING WAND & WHISKERS! 🐾✨

We are SOOO excited to finally announce something we’ve been working on! 🤍

Farm Acres has partnered with my wonderful sister to create these beautiful, personalized cat wands! I originally got the idea from one of our Russian breeders, but of course, we had to put our own special twist on them!

I already have 10 custom wands made that will be going home with some of our next Farm Acres kitten families! Going forward, you’ll also have the option to add a personalized wand when getting your kitten from us!

But Wand & Whiskers isn’t just for Farm Acres families!

We’ll be taking individual orders AND creating custom wands for other catteries and their clients. I’ll be sharing the website along with some examples of what we’ve created so far!

This little business is especially close to my heart. My sister recently had a baby, and she wants to be able to stay home with her little one as long as possible. I wanted to help make that possible for her, and Wand & Whiskers was born. 🤍

Whether you’re one of our kitten families, another cattery, or just have a spoiled kitty of your own, we would absolutely LOVE your support!

I know y’all always come through for us, and we can’t wait to see these wands in the paws of kitties everywhere!

I honestly just cannot let her go. She is a true chinchilla through and through. I had her on the website for a short time, willing to let her go. But now I just can’t. She’s absolutely lovely! She comes from the best parents we have. Her sister and brother are still on our website! 🫣❤️😍

Today, I wanted to share something incredibly special with all of you.

After five years of pouring my heart into this cattery, we were finally able to place our family Bible in the foundation of our new home and leave our babies’ handprints in the concrete to our new home. It was such an emotional moment and a reminder of just how far we’ve come.

I can’t thank our extended kitten family enough for choosing us, trusting us, and supporting our family. So many people only see the finished product, but they don’t see the sacrifices, the sleepless nights, the tears, the setbacks, or the countless hours and financial investment that have gone into building Farm Acres Maine C***s and what’s it’s taken us to build our dream home.

There were moments when I questioned if it would all be worth it, but God has remained faithful through every season. Watching these blessings come full circle is something I’ll never take for granted. I truly believe he has set every single one of y’all to meet us.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for believing in us, loving our babies, and being part of this journey. This home and everything we’re building for our family, is possible because of your support. We are beyond grateful and can’t wait to continue raising beautiful Maine C***s for years to come. ❤️

Through no fault of his own, this HUGE red chinchilla boy is on a hunt! You may think to yourself where have I seen him?? His brother was shared before this and was snagged immediately. They were TWINS! Now’s your chance!! The only reason we have him still his because he was rough housing with another kitty and got scratched above his eyelid, so we kept him til it healed ❤️

Red chinchillas are rare, and this sweet boy is just as special as they come. He has the most loving personality and absolutely adores attention. He’s the kind of kitten that just wants to be with his people.

He’s expected to grow into a breathtaking adult, taking after his gorgeous parents. Mom is a shaded beauty, and Dad is a stunning red chinchilla, so we expect him to mature into a truly impressive Maine C**n.
