July, August and September ☀️ 🐾 💦
We’re way behind on sharing, so here’s a little of everything from the past few months — summer fun, dock days, daycare chaos, and all the happy, tired pups in between!

And a very late but very special shout out — Jade, .cromar joined the Sea Dogz crew at the end of July! She’s been helping out with daycare, boarding, and all the other things and we’re so thankful to have her on our team. The dogs adore her (and so do we)! 💜

A huge congratulations to Huck and Oliver on graduating their board & train programs! 🎓🐶 Both boys made amazing progress and we’re so proud of them!

Here’s to catching up, new faces, and all the good dog days ahead!

Sea Dogz annual Murder Mystery Dinner and Dock Diving event is now open for registration!! November 15th at 6pm

The great Pirate Captains have been summoned to The Brethren Court to elect a new King. As rumors spread about King Long Bends temper and the murderous Stow Away many Captains will choose to stay away from the Sea Dogz Island and only the bravest will accept the call. This will be a cutthroat event as everyone will be out for what is best for them and their ship but the Stow Away has plans for them all. Will the Captains and Quartermasters discover who the Stow Away is in time. Will the Stow Away be crowned the King of Pirates. Who will live and who will die?

New AKC FIT DOG Classes Are Open for Registration!

Want to get healthier with your dog? Our next round of AKC FIT DOG classes are starting soon, and this is your chance to join in on the fun!

These classes are all about:
✅ Building strength, balance & flexibility for your dog
✅ Keeping them fit, happy & mentally stimulated
✅ Strengthening your bond while you work as a team
✅ Working toward official AKC FIT DOG titles you can be proud of!

Whether you’re looking for a new activity, want to add variety to your dog’s routine, or simply want accountability to keep moving, this class is for you. Plus, it’s FUN—for both ends of the leash! 🐶💪

✨Sea Dogz 2025 Championship Recap✨

We are still buzzing with excitement, gratitude, and overwhelming pride after this year’s IDS Championship event!

First, the excitement:
• A total of 31 Sea Dogz accepted their invites this year!
• 3 dogs set Horizon PBs, 4 dogs hit PBs in Eclipse, and 7 dogs earned PBs in Velocity!
• Out of our 31 competitors, an incredible 19 made it into the championship brackets 🤩!
• Lap Dogs: Ollie & Piper
• Legend Dogs: Maleki & Whiskey
• Open Dogs: Banjo, Gimli, Henry, Gizmo, Echo, Marble, Swayde, Rogue, Cooper, Rue, Loki, Kori, Lilly, Sherlock, & Reece

We were blown away watching so many of our dogs qualify for brackets—they gave it everything they had! Out of those 19, 5 placed in the Top 3 of their divisions, and so many others were right on the heels of the podium.

And let’s not forget our future stars 🌟—four Junior Handlers joined the Junior Showcase, with one taking home 3rd place!

• Coach Britt: Always pushing the dogs and handlers to be their best.

🎉 Congrats to our Level 2 Fitness grads — Kia, Rune and Kiara! These pups worked hard, stayed focused, and crushed it! So proud of their progress!

🌟 Staff Shout Out! 🌟

We’re a little late sharing these photos (taken back in May !), but it’s never too late to acknowledge our amazing team and how much we’ve grown.

Shelly – part owner, master event planner, and keeper of happy rats 🐀. She makes sure every IDS event runs smoothly and also enjoys urban hunt practice and Happy Ratter trials.

Royle – IDS judge who’s been instrumental in expanding our daycare and boarding services. -Did you know he’s been helping with the daily activities, he’s always there to make sure each dog gets the best care, outside time, swims, and slat mill sessions 🐾.

Oakland – your go-to for coffee, hot chocolate, and donuts at events ☕🍩. She helps with training, picking up after the pups, and assists us throughout the summer.

Britt – part owner, who cares for daycare and boarding dogs, teaches swim lessons and dock diving lessons, as well as teaching fitness and other group classes.

Harlee – has been with us for over a year, she does it all: boarding dog care, facility cleaning, events, classes, marketing, and more. We truly couldn’t do this without her.

Jackson – joined us for his summer break to help watch daycare and boarding dogs during playtime. He’s learning to safely run the slat mill and do swim time too!
