Oh my… this goodbye pulls at my heart! 🥹💕

Beautiful Olive Oyl, now named Lillie, is on her way home to Virginia! Her new parents drove over FIVE hours one way to pick up their tiny girl, and now they’re making that special trip home together. 🚗🐾

And check out her bow and sunglasses! 😎🎀 This little princess is traveling in style!

I can’t tell you how much I will miss her. She is perfect in every way, and such a tiny girl has left the biggest paw prints on my heart. 💗

Knowing she is going home so loved makes saying goodbye a little easier—even through the tears.

Happy forever, sweet Lillie. You will always have a piece of my heart. 🏡💕

A tiny baby is a BIG commitment—and that commitment begins long before they’re born. 🐾❤️

As a breeder, I don’t simply put two small Yorkies together and hope for tiny puppies. The process starts with carefully considering genetics, bloodlines, health, temperament, and how the parents complement each other. Size and coloring are only part of the picture, and adult size is always an estimate—not a guarantee.

Then comes caring for mom throughout her pregnancy, with veterinary guidance, ultrasounds, and X-rays at the appropriate stages to help us prepare for her babies. Her health and comfort matter every step of the way. 💕

Once those babies arrive, my work is just beginning. There are sleepless nights, weight checks, feeding support when needed, cleaning, socialization, veterinary visits, and watching each puppy’s development closely. The tiniest babies can need extra time and attention before they’re ready to leave.

From planning a pairing to placing a puppy, this can be a six-month journey—and sometimes longer. They stay with me until they are ready AND I find the right parent, the right family, and the right home.

It’s a big, big process. You see a tiny, precious face. Behind that face are months of planning, care, worry, responsibility, and love.

That’s what goes into raising our babies at Main Line Yorkies. 🐾❤️
