Retirement Announcement from The Collins Family:
It is with mixed emotions and a heavy heart to notify you that we have sold the business and will no longer be the Owners of the Doggie Daycare, named West Chester Canine Club.
The change in Ownership is scheduled for Friday, March 14, 2025. We have totally enjoyed taking care of your amazing dogs over the past four years. In preparation for our upcoming retirement and move to Florida, we started our search for a new owner a couple of months ago. Fortunately, we have come to an agreement with a wonderful family from the Philadelphia area. They will be the onsite, Owner/Operators and we are confident they will take great care of your precious pups.
We want to thank each and every one of you for entrusting us with your dogs over the years. It has been an honor and our pleasure getting to know all of their personalities and getting to know all of you! We’re excited for you to meet and get to know the Lang Family. Below is a brief introduction from each of them:
Hi, my name is Jim Lang (Dad),
“I’ve been a Dog Owner my whole life from small to big, all different breeds. I’ve owned a Golden Retriever and a Great Dane. We currently have a Mini Pinscher-mix named Petrie and an English Golden Retriever, named Maggie. Dogs truly are a man and woman’s best friend. I’ve been around police K9’s most of my life as well. I also managed a warehouse for over 40 years creating great client relations.”
Hi, my name is Terry Lang (Mom),
“I’ve worked at two different Doggie Daycares with all different sizes and breeds. I’ve had Beagles, Golden Retrievers and Great Danes. I also work with helping special needs adults, which I have a strong passion for.”
Hi, my name is Rachael Lang (Daughter),
“I’ve worked at Doggie Daycares for years, where I was an Assistant Manager. I also have training as a Vet Technician and I am currently in school to further that career. I currently own a Pitbull/Labrador Retriever-mix, named Shadow. I have also owned Golden Retrievers and German Shepherds. My first dog was a Golden Retriever named Misty and she is the true inspiration of what the name of our Doggie Daycare will be, which will be Misty’s Doggie Oasis.”
The Collins Family will be at the Daycare for the last few days at pick-up time to see each one of you to thank you and say goodbye.
We look forward to seeing you soon!
Sincerely,
The Collins Family
