A Live Webinar
BRAVE - ESSENTIAL COPING STRATEGIES FOR EVERY DOG. PRESENTED BY VICTORIA STILWELL

The vast majority of existing dog training strategies which relate to canine fear and anxiety are designed to help ‘fearful’ dogs, but all dogs encounter a crisis of confidence at some point in their lives or face situations that test their resilience. How a dog copes with these life challenges and how their families interact with them, will determine everyone’s future success.

Victoria Stilwell will introduce BRAVE - a set of new essential dog training protocols which can be specifically adapted for all dogs regardless of their level of anxiety or fear. (This will be an introduction only webinar with some examples, as BRAVE protocols are extensive. They will be available and accessed in future online courses designed for all dog lovers.)

PPG Summit 2020 Sessions: Building Positive Boundaries for the Refined Suburban Canine – Teaching Dogs to Enjoy Their Yards without the Need for Electronic Devices

"Electric fences as containment tools are very common in our residential communities. Many locations restrict or ban the use of physical fences leaving pet owners with little choice but to install underground electronic containment tools. However, discerning pet owners are misguided in the level of protection these tools offer and the potential for them to cause untold physical and mental discomfort and damage to their pets." - #PPGSummit 2020 session info featuring presenters Niki Tudge and Judy Luther. Could someone please contact me via PM. Not sure where I stand with the BAT program.
A loose dog started chasing the kids at soccer practice today while they were running around the field. My son is the youngest and was last in line... he stopped and followed BAT. The dog sniffed him and the owner was able to re-leash the dog and no one was hurt. Your lessons are so very valuable, thank you!!!
Might you be coming to Denver in the near future? Are the materials available for purchase?

Dear New York Post, THIS VIDEO IS IN VIOLATION OF DOG BITE PREVENTION 101! Please remove your video. https://nypost.com/video/toddler-tucks-in-pit-bull-before-going-to-sleep/?utm_source=facebook_sitebuttons&utm_medium=site+buttons&utm_campaign=site+buttons&fbclid=IwAR07A9ZD482ZSx6TB7mjBLDznRZkYG-lrjWG9jvNqBEjiCt6G2xFXvFjNg0 You are seriously responsible for being completely irresponsible for the safety of babies and toddlers. The next time you read about any dog killing a baby or a toddler -- which will be soon, real soon -- just remember that you played a role. You should never have a baby's face that close to a dog's mouth. This is the number one rule for dog bite prevention 101. Dog bites can happen quickly before you could intervene. Experts all agree young children should be supervised at all times with family pets. There should be no sleeping with pets either. There is NO disagreement among doctors, nurses, veterinarians, humane groups and more that this is a dangerous idea. Here is the message from the Pediatric Trauma team at Mott Children's Hospital: "Behaviors such as this should NEVER be allowed" --PLEASE READ:http://www.surgery.med.umich.edu/pediatric/trauma/protocols/TraumaNewsletter_Summer2014.pdf Dog bites suffered by young children are often inflicted by the family dog. Such incidents frequently occur despite the presence of an adult. A survey of dog owners shows that people underestimate risky situations involving the family dog. https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2016/09/160907095453.htm All experts tell parents you should supervised your young child and pet at all times.
