🎃 Our 3rd Annual Pumpkin Drop-Off at Storybrook Acres! 🎃

It’s that time of year again! 🍂

For the third year, Storybrook Acres is happy to offer our community a convenient place to drop off pumpkins after your fall celebrations.

Rather than letting those pumpkins go to waste, we share them with local farms, where they help feed a variety of livestock throughout the winter. 🐴🐐🐓

🎃 No appointment necessary! Simply drop off your pumpkins at:

📍 Storybrook Acres
1418 Bloomsberry Lane
Waxhaw, NC 28173

Conveniently located:

* 1.5 miles from Target in Wesley Chapel
* 1.5 miles from downtown Waxhaw
* Approximately 20 minutes from I-485 and Providence Road

We kindly ask that pumpkins be free of paint, glitter, candles, wax, and other decorations so they are safe for the animals to enjoy.

Thank you for helping us turn seasonal decorations into something useful for our local farming community!

🐾 OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT FROM STORYBROOK ACRES! 🐾

🎖️ OhSo Has Been Promoted to Chief of Security!

We’ve heard plenty about the mysterious Cat Distribution System. While management remains skeptical of its existence, we must admit that it apparently got one placement exactly right!

Somehow, OhSo found his way into our lives and quickly became one of the most beloved members of our farm family.

Following an outstanding performance review, we’re delighted to announce his promotion to Chief of Security!

His impressive résumé includes:

🐭 Security & Pest Control: Apprehending unauthorized rodents with an excellent record of success.

🌳 Perimeter Surveillance: Regular patrols and elevated observation posts to monitor suspicious activity.

🥚 Quality Control: Personally inspecting the daily egg collection.

🐾 Head of Human Resources: Maintaining excellent relationships with canine coworkers and supervising farm employees.

❤️ Director of Guest Relations & Chief Snuggle Officer: Ensuring everyone receives a warm welcome and plenty of affection.

💤 Employee Wellness Coordinator: A firm believer in comfortable working conditions, climate-controlled accommodations, and frequent naps. He leads by example!

And now, a department expansion!

With his growing responsibilities, OhSo will be supervising two new Junior Security Officers, Flora and Fauna! 🌸🌿

Their training will include rodent detection, perimeter patrol, interspecies relations, and the importance of a well-timed nap.

Chief OhSo has graciously accepted his promotion, although he has reportedly requested additional meal breaks, exclusive sleeping privileges, and the authority to delegate early-morning patrols.

Management is reviewing his demands.

Please join us in congratulating our hardworking, affectionate, and thoroughly spoiled Chief of Security! ❤️

And while the jury is still out on the Cat Distribution System, we have to admit — this particular delivery was absolutely perfect.

🌸🌿 Welcome to Storybrook Acres, Flora & Fauna! 🐾

Sometimes the smallest additions bring the biggest smiles!

Meet Flora and Fauna, the two newest little faces at Storybrook Acres. These sweet sisters have officially joined our wonderfully chaotic family of horses, dogs, chickens, and guineas.

Two tiny girls, four little paws each, endless curiosity, and a whole lot of personality. We can’t wait to watch them grow, explore, and find their place in life on the farm.

A heartfelt thank you to the wonderful family who rescued these little girls, cared for them, and gave them such a loving start. Because of their kindness and compassion, Flora and Fauna now have a forever home. ❤️

A little more flora, a little more fauna, and a whole lot more love. 🌸🌿

Welcome home, little ones! 🐈💕

A Special Offering from Storybrook Acres

With our annual NPIP testing just around the corner, we’ve made the decision to offer a few of our treasured keepers for sale this weekend (Oct 24/25)

The foundation of our breeding program comes from carefully selected specialty farms across the country. Each bird represents generations of thoughtful breeding, with an emphasis on temperament, health, beautiful egg color, and adherence to the breed’s Standard of Perfection (SOP). Their price is reflective of their quality.

Available this weekend:

* One Blue Copper Marans rooster
* One Black Copper Marans rooster

These are birds we originally selected for our own breeding program, and we’re excited to offer them to others who appreciate their quality.

This is just a little snapshot of our flock settling in for the evening, getting ready to roost.

Looking for ❤️ Love

One of our beautiful Blue Copper Marans roosters is looking for his own flock. Great at free ranging, good with the ladies, friendly and the softest feathers. He’ll sit on your lap while you feed him treats. He’s a big rooster.
