Iris had her post-op recheck on Monday and received a clean bill of health!! Her cancer was completely removed and she's healing nicely. Jammies are off and she's back to being naked 🫢 She has also lost 8 pounds since she's joined us 😁

Iris has come a long way here, but she's not going to thrive or reach her full potential. Iris needs a home with less dogs and where she can get more 1 on 1 attention.

Iris is a super sweet, beautiful girl who just needs the right conditions to bloom

Tomorrow Enid will be seeing our vet so we can get to work on her needs.

Here’s the list:
* Unaltered
* Umbilical hernia with entrapped fat
* Bilateral luxated patellas with stiff gait
* Severe dental disease with possible oronasal fistula

Enid will have a senior panel of bloodwork done and then as long as it’s safe to put her under anesthesia we will first have her spayed and have the hernia repaired and then she’ll go under one more time to have a dental done.

We received some great news yesterday…Kola’s oral mass was benign 🎉

Her vetting is now complete but she has been having some GI issues. Once we figure out why and get it resolved our sweet girl will be available for adoption.

Butters came to us as a 5 week old stray puppy. We have no idea who his parents were or how he became separated from his mom at such a young age. He was loaded with fleas and had a big, wormy belly. Butters was far too young to be out on his own.

He is currently 6 weeks old and weighs 6lbs 3oz. We believe he’s a bully breed mix and he should be med-large in size full grown.

Butters has been dewormed and he’ll be neutered, microchipped & have his age appropriate vaccines on 8/15. He’ll be ready to leave shortly after.

Requirements to adopt him are as follows;
- Must have a schedule appropriate for a puppy & training
- No kids under the age of 5 living in the home
- No apartments or anywhere with bully breed restrictions
