Confidence building with our girl Blue! We are always working on keeping things fresh, fun, and empowering. Since she’s been training with us for a bit, we’re always finding different ways to mix things up and challenge her mind and body while continuing to build confidence.

Yesterday’s school day included a focus on body awareness using box jumps and the inflatable training platform which are two great tools for helping dogs learn where their feet are, improve coordination, and work through unfamiliar textures and surfaces. These exercises may look simple, but they build so much more than physical skills: They teach dogs to think through challenges, trust themselves, and realize they’re capable of hard things by focusing on taking one brave step at a time. Way to go, Blue! 💙🐶📚⭐️

Bodhi out working on arguably one of the most important skills: recall 📚🐶⭐️

We’ve been strengthening his obedience by layering in the remote for additional reinforcement, helping turn “come” into a reliable behavior no matter the environment, distractions or his feelings about whether or not he wants to. Freedom starts with a solid leash foundation, engagement and trust and Bodhi is putting in the work to earn that 🐾
