Welcome Tippy to DCAA ❤️
Tippy is 6 years old hound mix, neutered, heartworm negative and roughly 44lbs which he could gain a few more.
His life has been turned upside down as his owner passed away leaving Tippy at a shelter being confused and lonely. We pulled him and placed him into a wonderful foster home where he is getting a bunch of loves. He is a dog that rarely barks, loves attention, gets along with other dogs, no matter how big they are. Likes to be a lap dog and loves to cuddle. We have no idea how he is with cats. While his heart is big, he will sleep with you without taking up too much space. Likes to be outside but is skittish to loud noises. He will let you know when he needs a bathroom break. Tippy doesn't like dark rooms or being locked up in a kennel, but he doesn't mind being in a room by himself. He isn't a picky eater but a bit hesitant to new foods. He is getting spoiled eating his favorite treats like sweet potatoes and peanut butter.

If you are interested in Tippy, please go to our website and fill out the adoption application Www.dcanimalalliance.org

His fee is $250 which includes his medical, microchip along with his age appropriate vaccinations. 🐾❤️

Two puppies with absolutely no concept of personal space!

Meet Titus and Archie!

Titus is the black Lab mix, and a certified Stage 5 Velcro Puppy. Need a bathroom buddy? A couch companion? Someone to supervise every single move you make? Titus is your guy.

Archie is the tan sweetheart who believes the way to your heart is through your stomach. He’s food motivated, eager to learn, and ready to trade snacks for good behavior.

**Bonus **Our foster did the hardest part- both boys are already housebroken AND crate trained!

They’re both 4 months old (not littermates) approximately 30 pounds each, and ready to start their next chapter with families of their own.

Adoption fee: $250, which includes their future neuter, age-appropriate vaccines, and microchip.

If you are interested in adopting either boy, please submit your application @ www.dcanimalalliance.org

Have we told you guys recently just how amazing you all are??!! Not only was this years Wags & Whiskers Halloween Gala another sell out event, but it was also our most profitable ever!!! Thanks to our incredible sponsors, generous donations, our talented volunteers, and our big-hearted attendees - we couldn’t do this without you!
As always, Sapona and their staff knocked the food and hospitality out of the park! Our desserts this year were from Sweet Stuff by Allie (cake) and Boone Hill Agriculture Farm (brownies).
Every year you guys get better and better with your costumes and last night was no different. We had some amazing costumes and even had a few “celebrities” join us including Dolly Parton, Miley Cyrus, Ozzy Osborne, and even Bob Barker came to remind us all to help control the pet population - have your pets spayed and neutered!
Please share any of your photos from the gala with us and…. Go ahead and mark your calendar for October 16, 2027 for next years gala event!

The Wags & Whiskers Howl-O-Ween Gala is our biggest and best event of the year, and a massive part of that success comes down to our incredible sponsors.
Today, we want to give a special shout-out to our individual table sponsors. We aren’t talking about businesses—we are talking about our non-business-related humans who generously purchase half and full tables to bring their friends, family, and fellow animal lovers along.
You are the people who truly keep us going as a rescue organization. Without your thoughtfulness and dedication, we wouldn’t be where we are today.
From the bottom of our hearts, and from every animal in our care: Thank you so much!
