Recommendations NEEDED!
What can I do to get rid of mice/rats without poison?
I am having an overwhelming problem with mice/rats in my shed where I keep my incubators, brooders, chicks, and supplies.
It’s an old shed I fixed up, so it’s not the best made building, but I’m hoping someone can help with some ideas on getting rid of this problem.
They are chewing through everything. The photo I included is of the wall!!! Even ate up the silicone mat inside one of my chickcozy incubators, and chewed all of my pop-up playpens. They even chewed up BATTERIES 😳
Feed is kept in a small tote, but of course any chicks in there have to have food 24/7. I can’t use poison, we have 2 pet cats also so can’t risk anyone eating a poisoned mouse.
I tried this metal trap, they won’t go in it. So now I’ve laid 15 sticky traps everywhere 😅
I just got these repellent packs to try, not very hopeful it’ll work, but I’m desperate🤣
I saw a DIY bucket trap I’m going to try making today, and bought some steel wool and spray foam to fill the holes they’ve chewed through.
