Our mission is to help homeless animals find loving families. Our motto is "We can't do everything, but we can do something!"

Guess Miss Evie's breed mix with us(link below)! She has miniature American shepherd and something else. She weighs just 9.5 lbs at almost six months old and was born on Christmas eve. Evie is Deaf and can see a little bit of light, is learning touch signals, loves a lap and she will be available after her spay later this month. https://app.embarkvet.com/pet/bd71bbfc-bf3a-4e2f-a622-e3f2485afe17/guess-the-breed?source=share. Shelby update!!!

Last week Shelby went in for extensive testing to make sure there were no other health issues that we needed to address. The results came back negative!!!

So apparently our girl
Is just a foodie. 🍕🍰🍪🍔
Which I can relate to 😂

She is doing so good on her diet. We tweak things here and there.
She is on meds to help with any joint pain she is experiencing.

Shelby made it up 5 steps that she wasn’t able to do when she first got to her foster home. We were so
Happy and celebrated her achievement with some green beans!

She can walk longer now before she stops to rest. She is swimming and although I’m not sure if she likes it or not, she does it.

The sweetest most easy going girl you ever want to meet.

We will be taking Shelby to a vet clinic that has a weight loss program to help us out with a plan. We are in it
For the long haul and I can’t wait
To see our girl running and playing one day and enjoying life to the fullest.

Big day for Shelby!

We didn’t get test results back yet but we are crossing our fingers everything is good. After her vet visit she tried swimming for some exercise and she put her whole Heart into it. We will be doing swimming exercises about two days a week.

Total weight loss (from shelter weight) is 8 pounds.
