817-598-4111 Tues-Sat 11-4 We are a group of dedicated volunteers with the common goal of helping Weatherford Parker County Animal Shelter pets. We are not a rescue group and most pets that we post are available for adoption at the shelter. WPCAS has maintained a live release rate over 90%

for several years, consistently. WPCAS DOES euthanize animals for space, when necessary. The shelter may provide a warning of pets in danger of euthanasia in the form of an urgent or code red list that is emailed to rescues registered with the shelter. If you are a rescue that is registered with the shelter and you do not receive this email, please send a request to [email protected]. "Code Red" or urgent lists are not routinely offered to the public or to the rescue community. Rescues are rarely called to save purebreds or animals with urgent medical or special needs, though the volunteer networker does make these efforts. The shelter software uploads animals into Adopt-A-Pet. You can find their photos here: https://www.adoptapet.com

King needs out of the shelter immediately! We love this boy.
He does need proper meet and greet with a dog he would be living with. You are invited to bring your dog and we can assist in introductions. This guy has been shuffled around too much so he’s very unsure and stressed, but a sweetheart. He has no home and would really appreciate somebody seeing his worth and adopting him. If you will give him at least two weeks to adjust seeing resident pets from a distance during that time then there’s a 99% chance of it working out beautifully. People tend to rush things before the household Pets and the new dog are ready. Let’s give sweet King a chance. He’s well behaved great on leash loves people. He just needs some direction. .

This girl has a great temperament just like the other 17 members of her canine family. οΏΌ she is ready for action, easy to train and a lifelong companionship with just the right person that appreciates German Shepherds. οΏΌ
Please help us by sharing this post and encouraging others to come visit her today. She is now passed her deadline and needs out immediately. It would be a shame to waste this life.
