Meet Kismet. She was hanging around on a property where she was being fed, but wound up in the shelter when her feeders weren't able to continue caring for her. They let shelter staff know that her left eye hadn't always been missing, but they also didn't know exactly what happened to her.

While at the shelter, Kismet had a little surprise, or rather 5 little surprises. Her 5 kittens were born in the shelter, and the little family has been in a foster home for 3 months. Now that her babies are no longer nursing, it's time for momma to get spayed and we'd like to get her eye taken care of at the same time.

What a night! Thank you to everyone who came out and made our first Cat Video Fest a huge success. We had a wonderful time and raised so much money for shelter cats. We are so grateful!

What's one way to help shelter overcrowding? Keep pets in their loving homes where they belong.

Some of our neighbors are struggling to feed their pets, can you help them? Current most urgent needs are wet and dry cat food, cat litter/boxes/scoops, and large or extra large dog harnesses.

Meet Ora. She's a 7 and a half year old bully-staffy mix whose owners surrendered her to the shelter after they could no longer care for her.

Ora has multiple issues going on: Possible entropion (inward turning of the eyelid that irritates the eye), a skin infection, hair loss, hematomas in her ears, and is pretty thin. We're so thankful that we're able to help this gorgeous girl get better so she can get adopted.
