The bubalove sweater club exists to provide dogs with sweaters, and to feed my need to knit. Although this project started because I could not find store-bought sweaters to fit my dachshunds, I'm happy to knit sweaters for any pup! Payment for the sweaters is a tax-deductible donation to the club, and I will then send 100% of that money to an animal rescue of your choice. Write me at bubalovesweat

I use premium acrylic yarns so you can toss them into the washer and dryer with your regular clothes. Turning them inside-out first further minimizes pilling.

Our Story

The bubalove sweater club exists to provide dogs with sweaters and to feed my need to knit. Although this project started because I could not find store-bought sweaters to fit our dachshunds, we are happy to make sweaters for any pup! Payment for the sweaters is a tax-deductible donation to the club which is, in turn, split between a reputable non-profit rescue that you choose, and our rescue of choice. We have several rescues in mind if you don't have a preference! If you don't need a sweater but would still like to participate in the club, monetary donations will soon be accepted and will go to rounding up donations we send out. A donor will be issued a receipt upon request. Bubalove sweaters are hand-knit, made-to-measure, and made with love. I generally use acrylic because it washes and dried well but, if you'd prefer a wool blend for the sweater, that can certainly be arranged.
