Good morning, and happy fall season! 2020 was a blur for me, and maybe for some of you, too. I needed to take the time away from pretty much anything having to do with social media...and peopling, in general 😀 I am back now, and feeling the need to knit again!

My knitting skills are soooo much better than my tech skills, and when this page's interface changed sometime in early 2020, some of my "Notes" and pics were dropped and I didn't have the heart, and didn't take the time, to go back and recreate them. In the next few days, I will work on these things.

In the meantime, I AM knitting, I do see new "likes" -- thank you! -- and I'm happy to answer questions for you! You may reach me via email or PM, but questions you have may also be questions that others have so, if you're not too shy, a question posted on the page would be great!

WOW! How is it these last 6 months could feel like they flew by AND crawled by?!?! That's how it's felt in my house, at least and, quite frankly, I am ready to move forward! I hope all of you are doing as well as you'd like to be doing 🤗

There have been quite a few changes here, the best of which is the addition of Trixie (Baby Bird is what I call her 😍), a little hospice girl who I adopted from Frosted Faces Foundation in October. She is 13 years old, has mild kidney disease and also has neuro disease. My little pack now numbers four -- dachshunds Remy, Lola, and Hans, and teeny tiny 4-lb Chihuahua Trixie 💙💜💛

If you were here last year, you know that I had so much fun with my birthday giveaway, sending $100 to Oolong Dachshund Rescue, Inc. and another $100 to Fluffy Dog Wellness & Rescue. I'd really wanted to do it this year, as I know rescues are hurting, but couldn't pull it off 😏😌Hopefully I can next year!

This was the first summer that I just didn't feel like picking up knitting needles, but I finally did a couple of weeks ago, and will post pics in the next couple days of two sweaters that have gone out this past month.

Wishing all of you good health and wellness ❤️

Me? I'll be hanging out mostly at home, playing with yarn, because I really do find it meditative and relaxing.

Most of you are done with sweater season (it is still pretty chilly here first thing in the morning, tho!) but I hope to knit for you later this year.

This fall, I'll be able to knit hats too, and continue collecting money and donating in the same fashion, thanks to a couple of sweet designers who love the mission, and who gave me permission to use their designs!

Again, my best wishes to all of you...I hope you stay healthy and as happy as you can be in these crazy times 🤗
