It’s warming up, and spring is just around the corner. It’s a great time to camp, but you also have to remember that the shoulder seasons can be temperamental and a warm afternoon can quickly fade into a cold, damp night.

Just a few days ago it was in the 70’s in the Oconee County bee yards. Tonight and tomorrow night is going to be in the 20’s. Not a good temperature swing for bees.

For those that want to waterproof any of your Bushcraft gear I will have plenty of pure beeswax available at the Georgia Bushcraft LLC 2025 Fall Gathering on November 7th, 8th and 9th.
In the meantime watch this great example of how to use pure, chemical free Harden Hill Honey beeswax to waterproof an item. Demonstrated by BattlBox's own Brandon Currin.
