Sweet Cinnabun! This adorable girl is currently up for adoption and showing off her cute squeaks and rolls over at PetSmart in New London 😻 She's very loving, quiet and gentle. She was very depressed when her previous owner left, but she's learning to love again! Reach out if you'd like to meet this beautiful lady who adores belly rubs 🥰

🐾 BEFORE YOU GET ANGRY AT A RESCUE OR THEIR VOLUNTEERS 🐾

😺Found a cat or kittens and upset a rescue can't take them immediately or hasn't been able to respond to you quickly?

Please remember:
🔸Rescues are run by volunteers.
🔸Not paid staff
🔸Not a government agency
🔸Just regular people trying to help animals in their spare time.

Most rescues are already dealing with:
🔹Full foster homes
🔹Huge vet bills
🔹Limited space
🔹Too few volunteers
🔹Dozens of messages every single day

When a rescue says “we can’t take them”, it usually means:
▫️We literally have nowhere to put them.
▫️Not because we don't care.
▫️Not because we aren't trying.
▫️Because we are already overwhelmed.

If you want rescues to help more, the real solutions are:
🐾 Foster
🐾 Volunteer
🐾 Donate supplies or funds
🐾 Help with transport or trapping
🐾 Spay and neuter your pets

❗Rescue only works if the community helps too❗

🙏🏻 Please be kind to the volunteers doing their best.
Most of us are already:

💔Exhausted
💔Heartbroken
💔 Doing everything we can

🎉Happy New Year! 🎊

2025 was a big year and we want to say thank you to everyone who's supported us throughout! 😻 From sharing our posts, to donating, to volunteering and fostering. We appreciate EVERY single one of you and so do the kitties that we strive to help. Without everyone's support we wouldn't be able to do it, it really does take a village!

This past year has offered a lot of opportunities to us, one of which has been becoming a partner. We began adopting kitties out in July with PetSmart and since then, have had over 7️⃣5️⃣ adoptions!

⭐That puts us at over 9️⃣5️⃣ adoptions in 2025 and that's not including the cats we've TNR'd!⭐

🙀That's A LOT of kitties and work (going through applications, checking references, transport, vetting etc) but it's all worth it and we're SO appreciative of our partnership and our adopters.
Thank you so much💚

We hope to continue forward in 2026 and save/help even more cats and kittens. We cannot do it without you and ask that you please continue to support us, even if that just means cheering us on!
