Amateurs dream!

This absolute star is just one in a million! Kind, honest and genuine with the biggest of hearts. A proven allrounder and schoolmaster with the most fabulous temperament, the type which is so hard to find.

Barney is a approx 16hh Connie x ISH 9yr old dun gelding, well put together with great feet he is a real versatile lad who has proved he can turn his hoof to any job with any rider. Whilst he’s not going to win the grand national or go around badminton 5* he’s the type who comes out the same wether he’s ridden once a week or 5 days a week, always has his ears forward and always looks after his rider.

Barney has been there and got the T-shirt from hunting to riding club to being a happy hack. He will take any rider from someone more novicey who needs there hand holding to someone who wants to go through the gears and compete.
There’s no job this horse won’t do he’s literally a jack of all trades!

Three lovely paces, recently placed in unaffilated dressage with 68% very rideable between the boards. A super jump, stays in a lovely rhythm and is super genuine and very honest, he doesn’t need a perfect stride, can take and kick or a pull and is a great confidence builder he would more than happy to show someone the ropes wether that’s popping over 50/60cm or jumping grassroots 80-1m. Double clear and placed arena eventing last time out.

He will cross any country hedges, ditches,timber and walls. Super at the meet, stands well, will lead over fences or is happy to stay at the back, doesn’t get whizzy and is happy to let other canter pass ect. Looked after my work experience girl last weekend and gave her a fabulous day.

Hacks out alone and in company, great in traffic, doesn’t need daily riding to keep him sane, never sharp, will take a kick not a sensitive type. Great to box(trailer/lorry),shoe,clip,catch, plait and wash. No vices. He’s a very stress free gentleman who will live in or ou

Storm
Registered Clydesdale mare, 12yrs,
Approx 16.3hh

Nature wise Storm is the most kindest gentle bfg tha you could wish for, she’s not bolshy or bargy, she wants to be your best friend and loves cuddles,

Storm hacks alone and in company, we have used her so many times to nanny the youngsters as she’s not really phased by anything, very good in all traffic, not totally dead but obviously she is a heavy so is steady,
She is super safe and steady out in the open, being snaffle mouthed at all times, will go first or last,

Storm in the school is more slow than go, she doesn’t love it but gives it a try, and she will pop a little cross, not done more jumping with her than that,

She is able to take any level of rider as she literally isn’t phased what people are doing on her back, so would be suitable for unbalanced riders,

Storm is very unusual to look at, I don’t know much about showing but I think she is super smart and could turn a few heads in the ring!

She will happily live in or out, she hasn’t a mareish bone in her body,

I would ideally love to find a home where someone wants a pet as well as a worker, it would be lovely to find this bfg her forever home where someone will go for lovely hacks as that’s what she loves,

Mr Sane Sensible And Versatile!

Absolute gentleman with a laid back level headed attitude. A true amateurs horse who couldn’t care less if you get it wrong or mess it up! He has a huge heart with a super temperament and will take any rider, doesn’t take offence at someone more novicey yet has the potential to up the gears if required.

Freddie is a 16.2hh 8yr old grey irish sports horse gelding, well conformed with clean legs and great feet, he is an extremely versatile type who has proved he has the ability to turn his hoof to any job. The sort who will have a go at anything from hunting, to hacking to riding club and everything inbetween. He has a leg in each corner and is more woah than go but equally has shown lots of potential to go on in any sphere.

He is more than happy to be picked up and put down sometimes weeks between rides. He spent the majority of this time hacking and lightly schooling which has given him plenty of time to mature and not rushed too quickly therefore is still a blank canvass for someone to put their own stamp on.

Since being with us he has been ridden by a variety of riders from novice to experienced all of which he’s taken in his stride.

He has three superb paces and the most superb trot, he really moves and has the potential with time and continued education to really excel in this sphere.

The most honest and genuine jumper, has never said no! He keeps the same steady rhythm to a fence whatever he is being asked to jump and is a real genuine trier. He absolutely doesn’t need a pro jockey.
He is happily schooling 90-100 level both xc and showjumping. He’s the sort who is more than happy to keep bobbing around the lower levels and as long as he’s fed he’s happy!

Hacks out alone and in company, great in all traffic and is used to seeing farm machinery on a daily basis around the yard. Loves the beach and the sea, is happy cantering behind or in front and doesn’t get whizzy in an open space.
Hunted by an amateur lady who had never ridden him before and gave her a super day over some tough jumping country and was very genuine.

Very easy to have at home,will live in or out, no vices, super stable manners. Great to box(trailer/lorry),shoe,clip,catch and wash(even likes the power washer). Doesn’t need to be ridden everyday, great with dogs and likes a fuss.

Ideal for someone who wants a quality allrounder to have fun on/riding club/be80/90 grassroots but equally has the ability with continued education to go up the levels BD/BE or BS.

Nancy is your ultimate dream cob, A proper leg in each corner type. Plenty of feather and a real fancy mover she is a nice mix of go and woah.

Hacks beautifully on her own and in company. Fab in traffic and open spaces.

Lovely person to do, good with feet etc. a real sweetheart who is going to make someone very happy. she's an absolute confidence giver suitable for a novice or experienced rider, she comes with all tack and also open to vetting and viewing, transport is available so distance is not an issue.

Beautiful big horse.
16.3hh dapple grey gelding. 3 parts Irish Draught 1 part Welsh d. 7 years old.

He is nice to ride, has 3 good paces in the school, hacks out alone and in company and is good in traffic. He will go far with the right person, would be a great working hunter horse or general all-rounder. He has perfect conformation so would go far in the show ring too.

He is a lovely laid back horse, easy to do anything with on the ground and great stable manners. Easy to catch, lead, load and travel. No health issues or vices.
