ADOPTION: We only have 2 kittens remaining from the 7 that were surrendered back in June with their mom. Sweet Poppie & Betty are the only two STILL waiting to find their forever home. They are about 4.5 months old and would make a wonderful addition to a family with another cat/kitten in the home.

ADOPTION UPDATE: We are so so Happy to share that Patches and Mike (aka Mikey) found their forever home together this past weekend!!! 🥰 These 2, along with thei rsister and brother Penny & Hunter, came to us at 3 weeks old and were bottle fed by one of our fosters. Patches and Mikey are the lucky 2 to find a forever home first.☺️ They have quickly settled in and have even met their new canine sister Maggie. Patches wasn't afraid at all while Mike was a little hesitant. These two love their humans laps and shoulders, and are soon going to be running the house!! 🤣 They hope their sister and brother Penny & Hunter will find their forever home together soon, just like they did! ❤

We wish Patches and Mikey a long and happy life filled with lots of zoomies, adventures, and love. ❤

ADOPTION: Penny & Hunter taking a nap on a lazy Sunday afternoon yesterday.🥰These two are a little sad because their sister and brother, Patches and Mike, found their forever home Saturday. Penny & Hunter are missing them and wondering why no one has adopted them. 🥲 Since these two are the last of the litter, and close, they should be adopted together. They are both very sweet, and a little reserved when first meeting people, but warm up very quickly. Penny & Hunter are 13 weeks old, up to dat ewith vaccinations, and tested negative for feline leukemia and aids.

FOUND CAT: this cat was found yesterday in Waterbury by a good samaritan. We are unsure if it is a male or female yet, but it is extremely malnourished and could not even stand when we received it. After eating a little and drinking, it is now standing but is still very uncomfortable and weak.

ADOPTION UPDATE: We are very happy to share that Dino and Cheerio found their forever home, together, a couple weeks ago! 🥰They have a wonderful family and are settling in very quickly. Cheerio is even developing a special bond with his new little human friend. ❤ We couldn't be happier for these two boys and wish them a long happy life filled with lots of adventures!! 🥰

Meet our very sweet Pittie girl named Sky! Sky is about 7 years old and she was surrendered to our shelter after her owner could no longer provide her a home. She is a very friendly girl who likes to be with people. Sky is used to being in a home and she is already not doing very well in our kennel environment. The loud barking is a lot for her and we can tell she is getting stressed out. Unfortunately, Sky is now exhibiting pacing/circling behavior which indicates she is extremely stressed. She hasn't been with us long, but Sky is one of those dogs who breaks down in a shelter environment very quickly. She needs to find a home before we need to make a decision about her mental/physical wellbeing here.

She would love a family to come adopt her and take her out of the shelter! Sky loves her people and wants us to be next to her kennel while she is eating, because she is more comfortable when we are by her side. Sky lived with other dogs in her previous home and she was fine with them. She is a gentle girl who loves a good butt rub. Sky is a really nice dog who deserves a loving home. She tested fine with our cats and she can go to a home with children 10 years old and older. Sky is housetrained and she is clean in her kennel. She is spayed and rabies vaccinated.

🚨FOSTER NEEDED🚨
We are looking for a foster for sweet Ivory, a 6 week old sweetie healing from a ruptured eye (hole in the cornea). She went to see an opthomologist yesterday, received new meds, and we are hoping sh ewill be able to heal on her own. 🙏🙏🤞🤞

Ivory's foster must be able to give her meds 4 times/day for a week, then 3 times/day, so it would need to be someone who is home, or working from home. Ivory is an affectionate little girl who likes to play and will probably demand a lot of attention!! 😄 She will need to be separated from any other animals as her eye needs to heal, plus she has not had any vaccinations yet or been tested due to her medical needs on intake.

ADOPTION: Mike (Aka Mikey - black) and Patches (siblings to Penny and Hunter) are STILL waiting for a home to call their own. Mikey is teh "wild child" of the bunch, but Patches keeps up with him as he races through his foster home. Even though these two have the most energy of the 4, they are the first to come for cuddles and kisses from their foster mom. 🥰 Mikey has discovered he has this long thing attached to his behind, and will chase it around and around and around, never quite catching it! 🤣 Patches and Mikey would be perfect as a pair, as would Penny & Hunter. They are all sure to bring their new family lots of smiles, laughter, and love. ❤
