I wanted to do a post to let everyone know what is going on. We have no more rabbits at the moment. We are leaving Alaska and moving close to Columbia S.C. My wife starts a job at the end of July but our house will hopefully hit the market sometime during the first week of May. Once we are far enough along in the process of someone buying our house her and my oldest daughter will take off. She has to work 30 days before we can close on a loan in SC. So the faster she gets there the better. Me and my younger daughter will stay until the house sells and hopefully camp out or do something to stay for a while this summer. I was lucky enough to find a summer job and I want to stay as long as possible to work there because if not I will be in SC jobless looking again so prolonging this job is definitely for my benefit. Once we get a house and settled in SC we will start the rabbitry back up.
Thanks to everyone who helped us along the way and purchased rabbits over the years. Me and my daughter had a lot of good times at the rabbit shows here and it gave us something to do together. It will all be missed.

3 Champagne d' Argent bucks, about 7 weeks old. Already have some silvering starting on their feet and nose. Of course their eyes have the white ring starting around them, kids say it looks like the rabbits put makeup around their eyes. The transformation has started. Didn't have any litters because I didn't feel like dealing with babies over winter, being in Alaska and after last winter figured it would be better to wait. This winter it's been warm, no snow, crazy winter. So apparently I should have had some litters after all. These 3 were born. I was hoping for 1 doe and instead 3 bucks. Of course they will be eaten but if anyone is looking for a buck that can move into a hutch at your place instead. Let's chat if so...

Been awhile since we have posted anything. We only had 1 Lionhead litter this winter. Born back at the end of Oct. We had 2 does that looked the best for show out of the 3 born in the litter. The Last youth show was the only time so far they have been shown. There was no one else showing Lionheads so no Legs could be won. We did however get good feedback and decided to keep the tort for the next show. ***********The black doe can move on to someone else's breeding program.**************. I have seen a lot of fuzzy rabbits on Craigslist and places that are said to be full blooded Lionheads but they just look like fur balls or Jersey Woolies in reality. That is a conversation for another day, which I plan on addressing, but for now let's not get into that.
What I am saying is she is a Lionhead, breed from winning Lionheads, has a full pedigree that shows her family and who she is from. Anyone in Alaska looking for a breeding doe.....let's talk.
