Hello gerbil friends!
I have a few gerbils who are looking for new homes for the holidays, including the oh-so-fancy REX gerbils!
I will be sending all gerbils home this month with a complete cage setup as well. Tell your friends!

Hello gerbil friends!
Regrettably, it may be a while before I have pups available again. No matter how great our breeding plans are, gerbils often have different ideas and there isn't much you can do to persuade them otherwise. Earl and Dammit Donna have been together for a few months now and don't seem to want to have kids any time soon. I have a few more pairs in the works, but who knows when they'll decide to cooperate.
Thanks for your patience! Please feel free to reach out in the meantime and I can try to connect you with other local breeders
Well that was fast! New rescue boy was only with me for an hour before he got adopted! His new owners lost one of their gerbils today, so this guy will be getting introduced to a lovely older female once I'm satisfied he is healthy and ready to go.
His adopters have named him Rocky (thank goodness, I do not need another Brownie!)
Since he had his leg amputated, Unicorn has been having a bit of trouble scratching any itches. He was particularly cranky about one in his ear today so I tried to help him out
Unicorn loves his kids ❤️
Unicorn has fully recovered, and is happy to be back in with his family cuddling his pups!
It is shocking how often I find this video to be 100% relevant to the conversation at hand
Kids will spend 13 minutes watching gerbils ride a train. How about two minutes to brush their teeth? Brushing for two minutes now can save your child from s...
Unicorn is home and recovering very well!
Just dropped off Unicorn for his surgery tomorrow... He broke his hind leg and is having it amputated
It's not often I get to visit adoptees at their new homes, but I happened to be in the area and Nolan's family invited me over!
Nolan's family rescued Gawain from an animal shelter, and got Nolan to be his friend. The two of them hit it off and are now living the dream!
Gawain was napping, but Nolan was happy to come hang out on the couch and socialize. He's very well trained!
Southeast 2019 was a success! All gerbils are taking home ribbons!
Highlights:
HH Mystery: won BOS in Show and earned his championship with a whopping 13 lifetime points, the maximum a gerbil can earn
HH Who Dat did not bite anyone
HH Renegade came in 1st, great for a female
HH Cosmic Brownie earned his championship with a BOS in White Belly
HH Le Charme wowed in Pup, the judge even shared his picture on Facebook
HH Eye of the Storm is only 1 point away from his championship
Want to ring in the new year with new gerbils?
There are two available pairs left!
Pictured: males born 10/31, argente and mottled lilac
Not pictured: females born 10/26, both black
Dammit Unicorn, we've talked about this, no stirring on Christmas Eve!
Clover and Tchopitoula (pictured) built a very cool den right up against the glass
Gerbils, as desert animals, spend most of their wild lives in tunnels and burrows underground. It's always fun to see them happily recreating those behaviors at home!
Chocolate and Caramel went home with Briana earlier this year, and she sent us these adorable photos of them celebrating Christmas!
The gerbil-fied gingerbread house is amazing, by the way.
We love to hear from our gerbils! Feel free to send pics and updates whenever you like!
Hey everyone! Just a couple hours left!

Reason #4381 that buying from a breeder is better than a store:
Accidents happen. Gerbils are still animals, no matter how cute/adorable/fuzzy/friendly they are. Sometimes they go and get themselves hurt, and how those situations are handled is a defining difference between responsible and irresponsible.
Responsible is driving 1.5 hours to the closest exotic animal hospital that takes emergencies.
Responsible is paying hundreds of dollars for emergency surgery, medication, and fluids.
Responsible is going through a medication routine twice a day, feeding special food, and making valiant efforts at applying warm compresses (admittedly, that last bit is hard and rarely works. A for effort).
Or maybe I'm just a softie. He probably didn't need the extra special flavored antibiotics I paid extra for. And he turns his nose up at the high-calorie food supplement in his bowl in favor of cheerios (dude that stuff is expensive show some appreciation!)
The bottom line is, this is what you support when you buy from a responsible breeder. I'm not just bragging about my own commitment, I know my fellow breeders would go to the same lengths and further if needed. When you buy home-bred gerbils, it's not just the pedigrees and the ribbons you're buying, it's love and a level of care you just won't see anywhere else.
Also, I am hungry and the gerbils ate all my money. Especially this guy.
Want a unique way to tell the date for the next year, that may or may not feature the infamous HH Cosmic Brownie?
Look no further! Remember, proceeds to benefit the AGS!

Supervised play dates are fun! Unicorn and Earl are getting along well, but not quite ready to cohabitate
There's a bunch of female gerbils waiting for their forever homes! Who wants a pair for Christmas?
Earl Jr is a brave and valiant gerbil. I will miss my selfie buddy when he goes to visit Gerbil Collective for a co-breed!
My first year of breeding and showing gerbils has been a whirlwind. I have laughed, I have cried, I have made many mistakes and many friends.
So very thankful to the entire American Gerbil Society for the support and education I've received, and to my parents and landlords for indulging this crazy hobby.
Very excited for the years to come!
We had a great show! So many ribbons, but here are the highlights:
Jameson received 1st in CP-AOC
Storm received 1st in Spot
Renegade received BOS in Self-Black
HH Sprinkles on Top, "Sprinkles", received 1st in Self-Black (beating his sister!) which earned him his Championship, the first for Helluva Hullabaloo!
HH Mystery then took home Best in Show, another HH first! This leaves him one point shy of his championship
Overall, great show!!!
Wine, pizza, and gerbils. Pretty average Saturday night at Helluva Hullabaloo...
Our gerbils are very well educated. Sprinkles and Jimmies recently attended a lecture at the Corcoran School of Arts and Design.
It's not Rebelle, but it is cute :)
On Wednesdays, we wear pink.
Lucidus and Mucro decided to play nice finally
Here are some of the gerbils I will have available between now and the MW show in November! Details on individual pics
