One Leg Up was established in 2003 in the Takoma Park/Silver Spring area, the company has expanded overtime to accommodate areas such as, but not limited to, Kensington, NW DC, and Four Corners. One Leg Up is owned and operated by Kristin Leone, she employs seven professional dog walkers and two professional at-home overnight sitters. ons and appointments of walkers. One Leg Up provides regular dog walks that can be tailored to a client’s needs and schedule. We also have playgroups for those dogs that have some extra energy and love. Overnight stays, at-home or boarding, can be arranged when clients go on vacation, have work obligations, or need work done on their home. We have the ability to provide necessary medications to each dog before or after a walk or during their overnight stays. One Leg Up will provide a consultation prior to dog walking and/or overnights with the selected walker/sitter as to assess the dog’s needs and allow for effective communication.
